Operating manual honeywell rth2310

Honeywell has the manual for the RTH2310 programmable thermostat on the product page: http://yourhome.honeywell.com/home/Products/Thermostats/5-2-Day-Programmable/RTH2310B.htm . The direct link to the English/French version of the operating manual is http://customer.honeywell.com/techlit/pdf/PackedLit/69-2229EF.pdf .

I hope this helps.

The backlight is not working on my newly installed Honeywell RTH2310 thermostat.

Hello. The thermostat needs a COMMON wire. The letter C on the back of the thermostat. In the unit it runs there is a COMMON connection for that reason.I hope there is a spare wire strand to use because a lot of thermostats don't need a common to work (uses battery)but honeywell does.

Honeywell RTH2310 thermostat temp variance

Hi,
Yes you can change that by change the number of cycles per hour that your t-stat looks from for youe furnace. Lower the cycles per hour number and it will increase the range.

You can see how to do it here

Wiring problem?

Hi,
Yes to everything!!
You have it figured out!!
Just make SURE that the blue unused wire cannot touch any of the other wires, it will wreck your transformer in a split second.!

I hope that this will help you to solve your problem!

I have a new honeywell thermosat rth2310 and the heat will not go on

Did you just install it????? If not check the batteries and replace them first....check for corroding also....if you just replaced the thermostat did you wire it correctly????/Wire for Wire???? If so if you have 4 wires in your thermostat you require a jumper wire between RH & RC....if you have 5 wires...no jumper is required....is the Furnace power on???
