SOURCE: maxxum 7000 camera lithium battery

The above posting is correct, and the cell is a CR2016. The main batteries are removed by unscrewing the battery holder on the right grip. Most Maxxum 7000's have AAA's, some have AA's, and if you have the lithium holder, it uses a 2CR5, available at the photo shops / pharmacies.

SOURCE: 3V laptop Battery

That's the CMOS backup battery. Some of the motherboard settings (the system clock and date, for instance) are stored in CMOS memory, and some power is required to keep the contents alive. If the battery goes dead (which it will, someday), you will get error messages when the computer starts up. All you need to do is pop in a new cell and set your clock again.

SOURCE: battery

My company carries a replacement battery for the MX3000. The p/n for our replacement is PC036067-(V1 or V3 suffix) You can reach me via email at and I will be happy to help you.

The link to the item is:

There are two important considerations concerning this battery.

1) Please note that the original version, supplied by Universal Remote p/n PC046067-H for the MX-3000, was discontinued by the battery manufacturer. The PC046067-H had a typical capacity of 1800 mah. My company has worked with the manufacturer to provide a replacement that has a typical capacity of 1400 mah but is identical in size to the original although slightly thinner.

2) Universal Remote used two different connectors on the PC046067-H with no deviation of p/n. We carry our replacement with both connectors (our p/ns use suffix V1 and V3 to differentiate). V1 is a simple white plug and V3 is different in that it has pressure tab built in.

SOURCE: Will any 3V Lithium battery work for the Scout

Any good CR2 battery should work. Try this.....remove the battery cap, then pull out the spring a little bit, Dont break it. Make sure the battery goes in Positive end first. reinstall cap and see what happens. If you can, measure the battery voltage.(2.9 to 3.2 volts)
good luck

What batteries can i use instead of smashing batteries? Duracell ?

That camera takes lithium batteries. Duracell are DL123. Others are Energizer CR123 or Rayovac CR123A. The 123 is the key here. Other makers of lithium disposable batteries will use different letters, but the 123 is what you're looking for. They should still be available at Walmart etc. Panasonic CR 123APA 1B CR 123A Photo Lithium Battery Retail Pack Single

Hello, I work for the Math department here at Portland Community College. Our little datemark is flashing p.reset and we don't know why. (My boss is downloading the manual but I am trying you). We put...

Please try the following:
  1. Remove all the batteries including the 3v lithium battery. In the 3v lithium battery compartment you will see a metal tab. Bend this metal tab upward slightly to ensure good contact with the lithium battery.
  2. With the batteries out, turn the unit over so you can see the print ribbon. At one end of the print ribbon you will see a plastic bracket. This plastic bracket should move freely. Using a pen or pencil point, gently move the plastic bracket from side to side in order to ensure it's able to move freely on the print ribbon.
  3. Check the display and make sure it is completely blank. Replace all of the batteries.
  4. Press the P-Reset button with a pen/pencil point or a straightened paper clip.
Hope this help, if it does please rate my help. Thanks

What battery and where does it go for 35mm single lens reflex slr

Your camera uses 2 x CR123 batteries; they fit in a chamber on the underside of the camera beneath the right hand grip.

The camera is an autofocus fixed lens SLR and batteries are essential.

You can view a .pdf manual at the web address below: it's for an IS-20dlx but it's the same camera as the IS-200. Your model had different names depending upon where in the world it was sold. I recommend that you save the manual to your pc as there's no guarantee how long these resources will remain online for.

ni-cad or ni-mh rechargeable batteries all have charging cycle life and will fall in effeciency. in saying that, batteries used for some time will be not be as powerful as the new ones, and over or under charged batteries also wouldn't give you expected power.

i guess the CR123A you replaced is a new one, so it has the desirable voltage and current.

LCD itself and the driver actually do not require a lot of power, but the camera does, which draws away from the battery.

Error msg fuji s2

couple of things:
I take it that "Err" shows on the display ? This can be caused by a number of things, including the aperture ring on the lense being in the wrong position. Make sure its set to the orange number. The 'err' message isnt generally shown for a power problem. If you have a DC power lead, attach that and see if you can get the camera to work.
Batteries are a nightmare for the S2.
Firstly, if looking for rechargeable AA's, you need at least 2300mAh. Maplin are doing a good deal till the end of the month on them;
If you have the small lithium batteries in, then take them out. If the camera senses that they are in there, it will try and use them -even if they are depleted. You can replace them with CR123a batteries, but unless you want to use the on-camera flash, I wouldnt bother. DONT BUY RECHARGEABLE CR123A s !! They do not have anywhere near enough power.
Summary; Check aperture ring remove/replace CR123a (High quality replacement) Use high power AA's
let us know if this works
