You can completely switch off the power for a few minutes and there is also a 'reboot' button at the front/bottom of the treadmill that needs to be pushed for about 5 sec (check manual). In my case that did not work and I had to replace the complete control panel/dashboard. My problem was different, I got funny messages about errors and flashing numbers on the dashboard. Tunturi was helpful in getting me the necessary spare parts. Good luck.

I have a gateway nv79u and it wont stay on for more than 30 mins. It keeps shutting off with error code 41 kernal-power.

Hi Michael,

Kernel Power - Error Code 41 often times caused by conflicting drivers. If you are trying to play a game or watching videos then the computer suddenly turns off, you must first check the following:

1. Open Device Manager (click Start > type Device Manager) and go to Sound, Video, and Game Controllers and see you have two audio drivers installed and disable one at a time and see if it fixes the issue.

2. Boot into Safe mode (press F8 continuously upon boot up) and see if the computer still shuts down there. (If it doesn't try disabling start-up items using this guide

3. If you're pop-up error messages like "System services cannot be started" upon boot-up, you're operating system is corrupted and must be restored to default settings. (you need to press F11 upon boot up - remember to backup your important files)

3. If Step 2 above is true, check if the computer is overheating. If it does, the computer needs to be serviced. Contact gateway support at 1-800-846-2000.

Cheers.

I receive an error of CPU Fan Failure upon start up and then it shuts off. I will start it again and it is fine. I have found on the initial start up, if I'm really quick and hit F2, it will start up ok....

It seems like your pc is overheatting. Open the case on your pc and check wheather the fan that is in top of your cpu is running. If it is not take it out and take it to the close computer shop and buy a new one. It is simple to replace a fan.

PXEE61:media test failure, check cable PXEM0F:exiting PXE ROM operating system not found

You didn't ask a question. I assume this is an error on boot-up? If so, then the system is reporting that no pxe server was found to boot your system over the network. To correct this you should enter the BIOS setup upon power-up (via hitting the delete, f1, f2 or f10 key - depending upon your computer) and disable the boot from network setting. Save configuration and restart. You should probably set BIOS boot order to 1st device = cdrom, 2nd device = harddrive.

Ink system failure 0xc05d1281

When this error occurs, please remember it concerns the ink carriage assembly not initializing properly. You can look inside the printer while it is OFF and move the carriage assembly to the left of the printer and see if there is any debris between the carriage assembly and the HOMING sensor. If any debris clear it out and turn and test. I hope this solution helps you. Thank you JaBu.....

What is error 0xc05d1281

Apparently its a Ink System Failure. Here's an email thread for comment for HP C6180 with error 0xc05d1281 => http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/forums/printer/50063

It's posted somewhere in the middle of the thread.

Here's a solution to reset your printer to factory defaults without using your ink for recalibration.

1. Unplug the printer and wait 30 seconds for power to discharge.
2. Plug in the printer.
3. Hold the CANCEL and OK buttons simultaneously, and keep them depressed while you hit the ON button. This resets the printer.
4. When the printer turns on, if you still get the error message, it's OK. Then perform the steps listed above, starting with pressing the * and # key.
5. After you perform the steps listed above, when you are at the step at the end where you are pressing the cancel button until you get to the WELCOME screen, if at some point you see a message, “Inproper shutdown, hit OK”, go ahead and hit OK and the Welcome screen should appear.
One thing that is nice about this method is that it doesn't use up all your ink doing a recalibration.

Installing error code -106

I suggest go to Start/Settings/Control Panel/Add remove programs.
Check and see if the program is in list and remove it. While in control panel go to system/Device Drivers check non have a yellow mark on them if so reinstall drivers or upgrade Reboot and try again.
