Zeepad still freezing i want to keep it, i just followed instructs in box, charged it, held power down for three minutes, and now recharging for two hrs. any tips, i don't like returning things i purc

Upon first use, you have to charge the battery overnight. Then for every recharge, you may have to keep it connected to the charger for at least 4 to 6 hours depending on your tablet, otherwise, your battery will go kaputt in a short period of time.

Freezer wont go below -9 degrees

This information does not mean anything to us if you didn't specify the model. In what temperature range a freezer works we knew thanks to the stars.
One star (-6 degrees centigrade) is perfect for making ice cubes and is sufficiently cold to keep food for three or four days.
** Two stars (-12 degrees centigrade) stores food for fifteen to twenty days.
*** Three stars (-18 degrees centigrade) will keep food safe for up to three months.
**** Four stars (below 18 degrees centigrade) means that the compartment provides the ideal conditions for freezing down fresh and pre-cooked foods.

I have Aspire T135 and everytime I boot the PC, it freezes at the Windows XP logo screen right before going into Windows. I checked memory, hdd, cdrom, etc. I installed a PCI slot video card and changed...

try booting in safe mode, and watch as the drivers are opened, as safe mode boots. take note of the last driver or file which it stops on before freezing or resetting, then look up (google) the name of the file or driver (.dll file), to find out where your problem is. if it turns out to be a driver file associated with your phone modem, then it is your phone modem which is preventing the computer from starting.

if that doesnt work, then strip the computer down completely to 1 ram stick, the cpu, mobo, video card (or integrated) and 1 hard drive. disable any unnecesarry integrated components (such as the soundcard) in BIOS, and remove any usb devices or pci cards which are not absolutely necessary to boot the computer (such as a phone modem card, an external hard drive or wireless network card).

the computer should boot once stripped down to the bare essentials and all unnecessary hard ware is disabled/removed. if it boots, then add back/reenable your extra cards, and devices one at a time, until you find the device which is keeping it from booting.

if it will still not boot when stripped down, then it is an essential, such as the motherboard, which is at fault.

Freezes and crashes are generally caused by some sort of instability in the computer system.

The following is a list of specific problems that can cause instability along with what to check when troubleshooting each.
Viruses can cause instability.
Run a virus check on the computer to look for a possible virus.

Conflicts can cause instability.
Check the Windows Device Manager to see if there are any yellow exclamation marks or red Xs beside the listings for device classifications. If there are, contact Tech Support.

Buggy or damaged software applications can cause instability.
If the system is less stable when certain software programs are running, shut down those programs and see if the problem continues to occur. If the problems stop, chances are that those software programs are causing the problems.

Buggy, outdated, or conflicting drivers can cause instability.
Check manufacturer web sites for updated device drivers for the various devices installed on the computer system, such as: printer drivers, modem drivers, video drivers, sound drivers, USB device drivers, etc.
Update one driver at a time and see if the system stabilizes. If this doesn't work, it may be a hardware problem, so contact Tech Support.

AC problems can cause instability.
Check to see if the computer system is plugged into an overloaded outlet.
Make sure the computer system is plugged into a surge suppressor.

The installation of new devices can cause instability.
There are three typical symptoms that point to this problem:
The computer system fails to boot, freezes during a boot, or freezes during an operation for no apparent reason.
The system fails to recognize the newly installed device.
One or more software applications fail to function as expected after an upgrade.

Some Tips for Dealing with Freezes and Crashes
Keep track of the hardware and software that is added to a computer.
The addition of new hardware and software can often cause problems to occur.

Research the compatibility of new hardware and software with the existing computer system before purchase and installation.

The older a PC, the more likely it is to crash.

When a computer freezes or crashes, chances are that changes made after the last save and when the freeze or crash occurred will be lost.

New M6319 laptop freezing up

This will be with the memory or a software conflict. To be perfectly honest, this machine shouldn't be doing this since it's only three days old. I would take it back for an exchange. This is a good model and this is not a common problem with these. If you exchange it for the same model I think you'll find that this is a good machine and you'll see that it shouldn't lock up. I've got a Gateway that is approx two years old and it hasn't locked up five times since I've had it. Occasionally, yes, but five times in it's first three days, no. You're going to have bigger problems if you keep it.

Whirlpool a class freezer

Red Light : Alarm high temperature.
Amber Light : Fast freeze function (ie ignores thermostat and keeps unit freezing all the time).
Green light: mains power.

If you have lost temperature on a freezer it is usually a major fault either the compressor has failed or you have lost charge (possibly the start relay). If you are able to get to the rear of the unit and check the compressor, if it is hot then it is more likely a major fault. A good fridge guy can normally tell the problem within a short time of inspecting the unit. Sorry to not sound hopeful. Good luck.
