E source wireless mouse

I have an esource 6 button mouse. The problem is only the left and right buttons work. The other 4 buttons do nothing. Is there a way to change that? I searched for a mouse driver and couldn't find one.

You need to install the software which came with mouse and then only other buttons will work. You may goto website of the manufacturer to download the needed software.

SOURCE: Mouse pad buttons not working

If the left mouse button is not working, then it is most likely the microswitch in the button has failed. To fix, you will need to replace the palmrest assembly

SOURCE: My touchpad right and left click button stopped working

is there a touch pad lock button, that locks the pad? if there isn't then there is most likely excess debris or dust or something under there that needs to be blown out with airisol can. If both of those solutions don't work then i would check to make sure the driver is installed for the touch pad. Good Luck. and i hope it works out.

E source mouse. Why has my USB wireless 6-button mouse stopped working?

To find out whether it is the mouse or the laptop do a system roll back to a time when the mouse was working well
Say a week ago.
If it does not work after wards and is still faulty you will need a new mouse.
To overcome the issue in the short term, try pluggingit in with an USBcable if it has such a port

My HP Optical mouse Left Mouse Button has stopped working. The RMB still performs its function (so batteries on mouse still OK etc). I have tried shfitng the USB port etc but nothing seems to fix the...

Similar problem which I resolved today.
I have a hp wireless mouse model no. 5189URF. I bought this in hp online in April 2009. It needs 2 x AA Alkaline batteries.
Steps I did to resolve.
1. Removed battery cover.
2. Removed batteries below which 2 screws exist.
3. Remove 2 screws and remove the top casing of mouse.
4. You can see 2 very small square push button corresponding to left and right clicks in mouse.
5. try to press the left button and make sure its free. The issue seem to be that this button becomes rusty internally and lost contact. Therefore clicks are not recognized. You may need to press it repeatedly and also with a slight thrust circumferentially.
6. You can test your mouse in WIndows Help & support option linked with HP hardware diagnostics tool.

Logitech wireless optical mouse problem

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud
