SOURCE: Does not Spin out the water at the end of a load

If it spins the balance is okay. Check out your filter now. And then the pump (after the spigot prob below) Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

Rate me pl.....if helped.

SOURCE: Hoover CA230 1300 Special Edition Washing Machine

I had the same problem. My husband checked the carbon brushes attached to the motor and ran the machine on spin. The brushes were sparking so he assumed they were worn and replaced them and hey presto machine works fine now. The brushes cost 23.99 and were just bought from a local shop but can be bought online cheaper. Hope this helps solve your problem. Essex

Water leaking underneath pitsos dishwasher when in use

It is so common that the drain leaks in many ways and is the most problematic fault in a dish washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged or the drain hose clamps can be loose on the grip which can all cause the leak to occur. Removing and cleaning the drain pump/valve, tightening of the hose is also very important. Also water can leak if there are gaps on the front door gaskets and must be checked but this will happen only during the cycle and not on the drain cycle end.

The water remains in the drawer after a washing cycle

It is a common fault that the drain fails to work in most machines in a period of time and is the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged. Now remove the drain hose clamps and remove the drain pump/valve, clean the drain pump/valve, use back flushing to clear off all dirt. Now test using power to see if this works and can be simulated. When refitting, the hose must be tightened properly. If the pump/valve does not work even with power then it must be replaced. If there is intermittent power to the drain valve/pump then the program controller unit is a suspect.

Finally the washer must be placed with a tilt- use a spirit level- so that all water will drain to the outlet port and thereby there is no residual water remaining.

I have IFB Elena washing machine. My problem is that water is coming out of soap inlet dish. Also after the cycle is complete drum is filled with water.

Water remaining in washer after completed

any error codes maybe f21,take the bottom panel off, you'll see the pump on the right hand side, use a pair of plyers to unscrew the middle part of pump,if you have a shop vac turn the middle part counter clock wise slowly when water starts coming out vac it up,also put a towel under the pump to catch water, when it's drained unscrew the middle part all the way and take it out and clean out the pump, feel around inside to make sure nothing is stuck in the impeller of the pump, try blowing through the other end of drain line to see if there is a block in it,put it back together and run it,put it on spin drain and make sure water is pumping out the drain line,if not the pump could of been damaged and you need to replace it
