Question about Chevrolet 1988-1996 Cheyenne Gas Fuel Filler Neck FN506 FULL
My pickup's rpm's surge at around 1750 to 2000 when at highway speeds (65-75mph). O'reilly Auto ran error codes in response to check engine light on. There were 4 different "solutions" to the problem and I am hoping to narrow it down even further. I have had this problem for a few years. The problem comes and goes but it tends to be more prevalent during hotter, longer running drives (Summer months). The truck runs fine aside from that.

Go to your local shucks or auto zone and they can check any codes behind your check engine light and it's free. It sounds like one of two things a O2 sensor or your mass airflow sensor but they will tell you for sure
