Question about NINJA Blenders

Open Question

Is there a way to get Ninja blender lid off once locked in place without using the release mechanism?

Knob that says "release" fell out when I tried to open blender.

SOURCE: The lid/blender blades is stuck on to the jar.

Apply vinegar to a rag and a couple of q-tips - use the rag for any exposed areas, and use the q-tips to let vinegar drop into the hard-to-reach areas. You tried everything else I would have suggested.

If all else fails, break any of the parts on this list an reorder them :-) :

SOURCE: my blender seems to spin without the glass blender

your blade assembly is corroded. take it off, and using a rag, grab the blades. using another rag, grab the other end (probably rubber) and turn CLOCKWISE - it's threaded reverse, so you have to turn to the right to loosen, not the left like usual. I had to clean out the rod that connects to the blades - it was all nasty and corroded. I cleaned it with my Dremel and regreased with a tube of grease I keep in the garage, cleaned all other parts with some Dawn, dried well, reassembled, and works almost like new. I'm guessing I ran it too long without pulsing the motor and the heat corroded the rod that's connected to the blades. OR you can buy a replacement blade unit for about $10 online on a blender parts site

SOURCE: I am attemtping a repair to my dualit blender. It

Same thing happened to me: There are two wires that lead into that mechanism, just hard wire them together using electrical tape. This of course disables this feature, but it wasn't that useful to begin with.

SOURCE: the piece thaat makes my vitamix turn fell off

Sounds like your drive socket broke. Use a small allen wrench to loosen set screw under arrow on drive socket. You will have to order a new socket from Vitamix. Hope this helps.

The power light on the Ninja Blender flashes and will not turn on.

Make sure the pitcher lid is assembled properly aligning the arrow on the lid with the arrow on the handle. Press down firmly on the handle until you hear a slight click to ensure it is fully engaged. The Ninja will not run if the lid is not assembled correctly & the handle is not fully engaged.

Arrow on lid, Arrow on handle. Line them up. I just did it. I knew it was something simple but I didn't think it would be that simple.

My ninja blender is brand new and i plugged it in and it doesn't start. what do i do?

There's an arrow on the lid and an arrow on the handle and they have to line up and point towards each other. When you lock the lid down it pushes a pin inside the handle which in turn pushes a swith inside the base of the blender that tells it that everything is in place and that its safe to use. Now its ready to use
