Shouldn't the radiator fans kick on when ac is turned on?

When you turn the A/C on does the elect. fan suppose to come on evenin cold weather and whitch temp. switch runs it?

Normally the ac fan (in front of the condenser) will run as soon as the ac is switched on. This condenser gets hot when the gas is being compressed and needs to have the heat removed for the system to work IT will switch on regardless of the ambient temperature as it is connected directly to the ac compressor clutch. IF you are referring to the heater fan inside then it will only work with the heater fan on or with both ac and heater on but will not always work with just the ac on.

Radiator fan always engaged when AC is on

Radiator fan is supposed to blow anytime the A/C is on. Thats how you check to see if a fan is working, cause its supposed to blow anytime the A/C is on , but not neccesarily anytime the engine is running.

Does the fan always run

Cooling fans only run when the temp,of the coolant get to about 215 to 218 degrees, and shut them selves off, when the engine cools down,if they do not cut off,the engine is not cooling down, now,if the ac is on,the cooling fans will stay on until the ac is shut off.

The radiator cooling fan is always on ?

Is your AC on (AC compressor activated)? Try switching that off and see if it still runs.

AC won't run on low speed

It may not be wired for low & high fan mode. If it always did before, then yes there's a problem.

Fan relay only engages when AC is activated; fan then runs until engine cools down again

Check and see if there are two fan relays on your car .. should be on the lid of your relay box.. The air conditioner switch over rides the other because of summer driving you always need your fan running when the AC is on so it is fixed so when you turn on the Ac the fan WILL come on like it is suppose to.. thanks Jerry
