How do i fix a noisy indoor unit fan motor

I have a 40 year old Sears fractional HP dehumidifier that gets noisy from time to time and I solve this by applying some oil to the motor shaft next to the bearings on the motor. The other possibility is the fan blades may be slightly touching something.

Display has gone blank on my GSI181HXB air handler from grunaire what can I do?

appliance repair or unplug it and ask grunaire for technical support before getting too serious with a BTU unit of 18000 somedisplays have energy efficient sleep modes built in and should awake when loss of power or carbon monoxide sensing. use the manufacturing labels to find a .com of technical support or leave that to the repair man.

We have a flow pro fan model 10380. The fan blades need replacing. We can not find a source to buy just the fan blades. Help Thank you Roberta

The Flow Pro 10254 fan seems to be product sold exclusively by Northern Tool & Equipment. Northern Tool & Equipment is a chain store operation in the Southeastern U.S. and Central U.S. They also have a large catalog and internet sales business. You may be able to get replacement parts - or be put into contact with a Flow Pro customer Service Rep by contacting NT&E.

Please rate this reply. Sorry that I don't have anything more - good luck!

Need to replace water pump. how easy it it?

Pretty easy. Just drain antifreeze. Then loosen 4 bolts that holds fan to pulley. Remove plastic fan schroud and fan pulley. Loosen water pump bolts in criss cross pattern and remove water pump. Clean surface install new gasket and water pump install in reverse order. Tighten in staggerd order to keep from breaking and warping. Don't forget to change thermostat good time to replace. Part should be about 50 bucs at your local parts store.

Cooling fan not functioning properly. running 200 plus degrees regularly climbing to 230 240. where should i start troubleshooting. the fan is still operational, it seem to not sense temp a kick in .

if this is an electric fan, first test your coolant temp sensor located in the block or possibly the radiator, then make sure theres not an obstruction in the system itself and have the system flushed out and the radiator boiled out(depending on radiator material)and checked,if its a newer model vette it may have a double-cross flow system and they plug up easier than the standard cross-flow system
