SOURCE: the dovetail groves are closer on a pellet gun

You probably have rings designed for a standard Weaver style scope base.... you need "3/8" groove .22 style" rings... available from your local gun shop.
Hope this helps, Mark the Gunsmith

SOURCE: Pellet Airgun appears to have

hi, the problem you are having is with the pellets you are using some pellets are not made as good as others and often jam most guns so next time buy a different brand and you should find you will have no further problems.

the problem now is getting the pellet out, have you tried firing a few times as fast as you can and see if the pellet will move further down the barrel, most will come out after a few shots or if your using a gas powered gun try putting a new canistor in and that should shift the pellet for you, if it wont budge your going to need to force it out but only force it out the way it should come out dont push it back up the barrel the way it came as you will damage the rifling in the barrel your going to need to get something thin to push it out something like a knitting needle or some thin rod, it will push out but dont use any more of the pellets that that one came from go out and buy a different brand as some brands are made cheap and are not exactly 1.7 or 2.2 or what ever size your using so change the brand you buy and you should find you will have no further problems ok

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

Pellet will not stay in chamber of pellet gun

The chamber may be worn. The pellet is just big enough to stay in the chamber without falling out. A worn chamber will allow this to happen.

I lose presser when I pump up the airrifle?

If it has not been oiled, try oiling it first with pellet gun oil, or a non-detergent oil like Labelle light oil.

What oil have you used to oil it if you have oiled it before? If motor oil, 3 in 1, or WD 40, the problem is the pressure cartridge needs replacement. Motor oil detergents disolve the plastic seals, and the other 2 listed will leave residue that can glue things together.or the residue can clump and interfere with sealing.

The only oils to use are pellet gun specific oil, Labelle light weight oil, or pneumatic tool oil

Ilive in indiana and i have a problem with ratcoons . so i set out to buy a good air rifle , i though i had one then i put a bb .177 cal , in my brandnew BEEMAN air gun ,the the bb feel out the barel ......

Are you sure its a bb gun and not a pellet gun? Usually bb guns have a magnet on the bolt, that keep the bbs from falling out. Pellets don't roll so the won't roll out the barrell.

How to reassemble a crosman 357.177 pellet gun.

Just visit Crosman's website and follow the link down at the bottom for the owner's manual. When you scroll down to the 357, there will be an exploded parts diagram. It's a it of a puzzle to put it back together, but I got mine back together. Just be prepared to replace the o-rings. I destroyed mine taing the gun apart.
