SOURCE: Jet substitution

You want to try something different.

1. Go to www.xerox.com
2. Click support and drivers.
3, In the search box type in Phaser 8400.
4. Select Drivers and downloads.
5 Scroll down and find Jetfix snipit, and download that, follow the procedure, maybe more than once.

You can also look up service dealers in your area on the xerox website. Most will get you the print head and labor much cheaper. I emphasise the MUCH portion of cheaper...

SOURCE: need substitute switch part for sears saw

Sorry , but go buy a new saw. Your not going to find an aftermarket
dealer that carries this switch.

Trying to rig some other switch is not worth the trouble over buying a new one. If the switch is not available, then the saw is old.

Out of cream of tartar. What can I use from my cupboard to substitute?

see here

or

or any of a number of articles.

Possibly the function of cream of tartar in ice cream making is to stablise egg whites so the ice cream is similar in texture to whipped cream or meringue so you might try "use an equal amount of white vinegar or lemon juice, or omit the cream of tartar entirely". Have fun experimenting !

What can I substitute for molasses

That depends upon what you have available. Classic baked beans require molasses - if you substitute anything else, you won't be making classic baked beans, you'll be making something else. Might taste good, though.

How do you make buttermilk

Butter milk is 'usually' what remains when full milk (3%bf) or cream (10%bf) has been agitated to release its butter fat (bf). But if you are trying to 'substitute' a small amount in a recipe, say for muffins or coffee cake -- then adding a tsp. or so of lemon or vinegar to whole milk will do -- or diluting some real yogurt with water or milk, to the quantity the recipe requires.

Substitution cream of tatrtar

That is popular. COT is acidic, so often lemon juice or vinegar is used, in equal amounts teaspoon for teaspoon. Another is baking powder (not baking soda) but use about 1/3 more of it.

What is a zester?

"A zester (also, citrus zester or lemon zester) is a kitchen utensil for obtaining zest from lemons and other citrus fruit. A kitchen zester is approximately four inches long, with a handle and a curved metal end, the top of which is perforated with a row of round holes with sharpened rims. To operate, the zester is pressed with moderate force against the fruit and drawn across its peel. The rims cut the zest from the pith underneath. The zest is cut into ribbons, one drawn through each hole." (Wikipedia)

The sub said oil pressure

If, by sub oil, you mean "oil substitute", there are many different types. One example would be to substitute applesauce for oil when baking. Would you be baking or frying, though?-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
