Sometimes depending on how far it will boot and what version of windows it is. You can hit the F8 key as it is first starting up and get into safe mode. From there you can get into "My Computer" and right click on the "c" select the tools tab and do a defrag and schedule a disk check - check both boxes in disk check - one says "check for errors" the other one say "attempt to repair" This will fix it about 60% of the time!!! Good Luck!!!!

Hi,

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)

Stop one mac screen from becoming multiple screens

Mirroring displays the same image on each display.
  1. Make sure your additional display is properly connected and powered on.
  2. From the Apple (?) menu, choose System Preferences.
  3. From the View menu, choose Displays.
  4. Click the Arrangement tab.
  5. Enable (check) "Mirror Displays" in the bottom-left corner.
In the example below. the blue boxes represent each display that is connected. The white bar at the top of both boxes represents your menu bar and is shown on both displays when they are showing the same information.
lion_mirror_displays.png
When mirroring, your Mac attempts to match the closest resolution between the primary (or built-in) and secondary displays.
lion_display_resolution.png
The usable resolution is the closest matching resolution for both the primary and secondary display. If you choose a resolution that is not supported on both displays, OS X reverts to using the closest matching resolution.

Extended desktop With extended desktop, your displays are treated as one, continuous desktop.
  1. Make sure each display is properly connected and powered on.
  2. From the Apple (?) menu, choose System Preferences.
  3. From the View menu, choose Displays.
  4. Click the Arrangement tab.
  5. Disable (uncheck) "Mirror Displays".
In the Displays pane of System Preferences, each blue box represents a display that is currently connected. The size of each box is relative to the current resolution of the display it represents. In the example pictured below, the larger box on the left represents an Apple 27" Thunderbolt Display, while the smaller box on the right is the built-in display of a 13" MacBook Air (Color LCD).
The white bar at the top of the left blue box represents the menu bar you see at the top of your display. Menu bar placement determines which display is treated as the primary display in OS X. To change your primary display, click and drag the white bar from one blue box to another.
You can also drag any of the blue boxes to change a display's represented location. Use this feature to make sure the connected displays match their real world location when navigating your desktop.

As shown below, each display retains its maximum resolution setting as they are operating as individual displays showing a continuous desktop.

I'm trying to watch a 3d movie in my blue ray 3d

First off is your TV a 3D TV. If it is you should be able to go into the menu setting (or on the remote) and change the display from regular TV to 3D. Then your 3D blu-ray player should recognize it.

Yellow tint

Hello. Here's the visual key to remember about projectors--LCD panels show their colors like this: RED lcd panel displays cyan onscreen(baby blue); GREEN lcd displays purple; BLUE lcd displays yellow. ( You now know where the displayed dust is!) The problem is most likely a burned blue lcd or polarizer filter in front of the blue lcd panel. This occurs when the dust filter isn't cleaned regularly or properly and heat builds up--yes, enough to "cook" the lcd panel or actually cause a burn to develop on the polarizer. The polarizer is just like a lens in a pair of good sunglasses. It is a small, extremely thin, pane of glass with polarizer material glued onto one side. When burned, it causes a "shadow" effect--that enhances the display of that particular color--in this case, yellow.--Hope I was of assistance!---Rick
