Blade not turning

My Bamix stopped working--no shaft movement and loud motor noise (think disuse caused motor lubricant to thicken). Propped it upside down and put drops of quality machine oil at seam where narrow blade shaft enters larger shaft (in center of curved guard). Probably not necessary, but added a few drops where large shaft enters handle. Oil slowly seeps in. Attached a blade to manually turn for oil distribution. Did this periodically over several hrs. Turned on low speed and it gradually returned to full speed capacity.

test the scanner and computer test for most effective result.
However see if fan/waterpump drive belt is slipping. Coolant is frozen
inlet or outlet water hoses are clogged or kinked. Coolant tube is blocked. Temperature gause is defective. Water pump defective. Fan is too far from radiator,(close it) .Defective water distribution tube. replace the tube. Fan insuficient blade are or pitch replace with large fan or with more blades.

do you have a electric fan on your vehicle, if so, check the fan relay , located in the power distribution box, under the hood , on the drivers side. "if you do not have a electric fan, check the fan clutch , located between fan blade and water pump.

Ouch. That doesn't sound good.
Is the blade seating & locking on the spindle? Try turning it with your hand (unplug the blender first!).
Examine the underside of the blade, and the spindle, for cracks.

If you find a problem here, it may be a simple matter of replacing the blade assembly.

If not, try running it dry... no blade, no container. Just short shots of one second. Is the spindle turning? If it turns, then put the container & blade back on... but just put water in the container.
If the blade turns, whipping the water (but doesn't turn if you put something more dense in it), that suggests that your bearings are going out.

In summary:

• If the spindle turns but the blade doesn't turn, look at your blade assembly. (Plastic can hide a crack.)
• If the spindle turns "sometimes", but not when subjected to resistance, then it's probably worn bearings.
• If the spindle doesn't turn at all, then your blender will need to be professionally repaired or replaced.

Take the blade back, and get a replacement blade that is "balanced" (same weight on both ends, and same weight-distribution).

Check the blade with it off the base and make sure that it spins freely. Check the spindle on the base and see if it feels hard to turn. If the spindle turns too easy , then the connection inside the base is broken and needs replacing.

le means locked motor disassemble the filter and work your way down to the macerator(steel chopper blade) remove it and see if the side labeled "this side up" is really up, its in english... dont think the chinese labourers paid attention to the warning cause i have seen alot that were wrong way

if it was installed correctly order the complete motor/sump assembly btw you do know LG d/w came with a 2 year warranty right? and some of the water distribution system had a longer limited warranty
read your manual, it states warranty, then price the part, then call warranty depot to ask them their service call and labour to install motor/sump

Did anyone find out why the motor was spinning what seemed to be the wrong direction? My motor went out and I installed and new one same connectors and everything. Then the dishwasher wouldn't clean I bypassed the door switch and view the wash cycle and the arms weren't turning.. they are clean and not damaged. So I took it apart and viewed the impeller turning what appears to be the wrong direction.. even spinning to where the dull side off the chopper blade is the leading edge... could there be an issue with my new motor or a circuit board or some other issue. Wondering if there is a way to change the motor rotation with out causing other issues

Your clipper blades should be oiled before and after each use. To oil the blades hold the clipper with the blade toward the ground. Put a dab of oil on each side of the blade where they meet and across the back. Turn the unit on to let the oil distribute. Any excess oil can be wiped with a soft cloth.
