Sounds like the setscrew that holds it on has either worked lose and is missing or is striped and no longer tightens properly. Replace set screw if missing and or replace set screw if the set screw is striped. If the threads are stripped in the faucet body the faucet itself will need to be replaced. This usually does not fall under Moen's warranty guidlines.

No--need info on removing handle from Moen 87485 single handle faucet. We have removed the plug button and set screw but the handle will not come off. The handle is corroded through--can it be force

Sometimes there's a small Allen screw on the handle cover. But most likely if you've removed the cap and screw beneath, it's just stuck and will take some jiggling and vertical force.

DOME LIGHT STAYS ON

There is a switch on the dash light dimmer that keeps the dome light on. If you turn that swith=ch back a bit, then the dome light works as normal.

I need to change the 1255 cartridge on a Moen Benton Faucet.

Usually they unscrew. Sometimes if the faucetis in a hardwater zone the mineral deposits build up and make getting the dome off very hard. Use a strap wrench to get a little more grip, this will prevent damage to the finish and allow you to twist harder.

I need to replace a broken plexiglass dome cover for the webber chill

Buy a plastic cutting board. Cut it into a 16 inch circle and put a handle on it. Works better than original, keeps things colder!

ATW-T52, hissing/crackling.

A common problem that SOME have is due to the foam windscreen inside the metal screen rubbing the diaphram of the mic.

Unscfew the dome screen and make sure the foam is out agaist the scree everywhere.

If the dome has become dented, this is my cure: Temporarily remove the foam sheet inside the dome. Put the dome over the handle of a Crescent wrench (has about the right contour). Pound on the screen with a RUBBER mallet, rotating the screen as it reforms! Good as new! Replace the foam sheet and reassemble!

remove all pillar trim pcs.(2front,2center and 2 rear-they are held in by clips so they just pull off-be careful not to brake them)remove front handles on headliner, remove sunvisors and visor holders remove clear cover from dome light ,remove dome light(2 screws)-you will see headliner plastic keepers pull off and headliner will come down ,fold down or remove front seats to pull out and install new headliner-reverse all the steps-keep all your mounting screws and clips with each part removed so you wont have trouble finding them-good luck

The color piece comes off with the dome on the end of the ear piece. Having purchased a CENTRA Active hearing aid only 18 months ago they have now broken, 5 times requiring a new piece

Hello KayMike,

If the dome on the end of the ear piece is a wax guard type collector that must be opened and cleaned out and then closed. Or if it just the type that you brush away wax, then you must be very careful when handling this procedure?

If you are not comfortable in doing this, I would recommend you schedule an appointment with your provider to ask for refresher instructions and/or service to do this for you. Some instruments may be fitted with different styles of wax guards that may be easier for you to handle. If the color piece with the dome is not a wax guard please clarify you question.

Please advise if this addresses your problem. We hope it will be helpful and thanks for contacting FixYa.com.

I ordered a couple replacement parts for this grill @ Fox international including the handle. Call them @ 1800-231-9786, and choose the option for the George Forman Grill. They claim to have every part for this grill.
