SAP IN LEAKING FROM MY PINE TREE, IS THIS A SIGN OF BORES, MY APRICOT LOOKS THE SAME.

Sap is the pines natrural defense and protective measure when the tree has a break or cut in the bark or is being attacked by insects. So the sap could be seeping out from a broken branch or if it is a borer, there would be small holes(1/4 inch or less) in the bole(trunk) of the tree and there will also be sawdust coming out of the holes and around the base of the tree from the larvae eating the tree.

Will it and can it kill a tree

From what I understand about Roundup, it is a contact herbicide that does not affect other plants through the soil. It works best when sprayed on foliage. It has to be injected or painted full strength on trunks and stems to have much of an effect on healthy trees or shrubs. Trees take a verry long strong dosage to be hardly effected.
