Question about Televison & Video
I cannot hook up my Wii to my new 46" Magnavox tv no matter what I do? The red and white inputs are there under HDMI 1, but the Wii still will not work there. I'm sitting here scratching my head because I absolutely cannot figure it out. Anyone else who had a similar issue and fixed it?
Red and white inputs are for audio.
Use yellow, or get the proper cable if you don't have it.

Hello, I have a question which video inputs are you using for your DVD and Wii connections? The reason I ask is because this sounds like video distortion cuased by noise. If possible can you send a picture of the screen when it has this problem and send which video ports are being used? If it is noise in the video you may have a saw filter problem, or a decoupling issue. In any event I'll know more once you send those pictures and which inputs you are using for your DVD and Wii. You are connecting it into the wrong input. The Wii comes with a RCA cables that should go into the Video (composite) input that has yellow, red, and white. The component input will not work with the RCA cable input. Plug your Wii into Video1 and you should get the right colors. There should be another HDMI on the side of your TV, there are inputs located both on the back and side of the TV for your convience.
