These machines are designed to use only Nespresso capsules. The UMilk, particularly, is susceptible to jamming if so-called "compatible" capsules are used, as the capsule is pierced electroncally, not manually as in most of the Nespresso range of machines.
Hope this helps, Rob.
The descaling funnel is a small, dull red insert that replaces the capsule holder and is used during the descaling cycle. I purchased a used CVA2650 that came without the funnel. I called Miele concierge service for help. They stock the descaling funnel and sell it for $15.95. In my case, they simply mailed one at no charge without me even asking. Great customer service!
this fault means low pump pressure in the circulation pump due to foreign particles jamming up the pump. you would need to remove the unit and tip it on it's side and remove the base plate and the pump and clear the blockage.
I have a dolce gusto and i am unable to remove the coffee capsule. It seems stuck, as does the lever that punctures the capsule. If the valve lever is moved right or left nothing comes out. Please can you help?
this is usually due to the hinged part of the capsule plate failing to return to the normal resting position after ejecting the first capsule. You can resolve this problem by occasionally pulling the capsule plate out of the unit and running it through the dishwasher. You can also scrub it with a toothbrush under hot soapy water. Coffee stains build up on the mechanism preventing the plate from dropping to the rested position. The second capsule hits this and jams rather than riding the ramp into the puncture plate.
I have had this too...
turn off the power (inside opening front) & remove the carousel & runners then the waste container & then the capsule plate.
clean area inside where capsule plate comes from & reassemble everything, that usually clears the problem -if it is only happening once in a while.
