Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My nextar mp3 player always say file sytem error and cant get it off or fix problem. Cant listen to music because it is frozed there.

You may want to try to reformat the player and then load music again after the restore. It also may be a problem on the type of file you are trying to play. Most common formats are .wma, .mp3, .wav

System eror on mp3 can this be fixed?

You would need to format your MP3 and reinstall the firmware on it.
Be sure to get the latest firmware so your MP3 gets all the fixes possible. Format it in FAT32 using windows or if you have an application included with the factory CD-ROM, use it to format it.

It keeps saying file error

Check the format of the music you are playing and if you have music that requires the license it will load the music but not play. It will show up as a file error.

Target Base MP3 Player file system error

Unfortunately, the firmware upgrades will not usually result in reloading all the system files from the original firmware. If your unit was displaying "File system error" right out of the box, then your player was probably previosuly-owned. If it is a new problem, a key system file could have been deleted manually or through a basic incompatibility with Windows Media Player 11. At any rate, you will need to go ahead and replace the player if the firmware upgrade does not resolve the issue. Does target even have a firmware update on their website?

EMERSON MP3 MUSIC PLAYER, EMP312-1, "FILE SYSTEM" ERROR

ok here we go i dunno how i figured this out lol but it took a while. okay so ur gonna go to control panel, device manager, and uninstall the driver for mp3 player. then disconnect mp3 player and reconnect it to reinstall mp3 player. it will recognize it as emerson mp3. right click on it (im running xp) go to properties, click on the tools tab and click on check now on the error checking and select both options of automatic fix file system errors and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors. then hit start and it will start the process of fixing the file error. it takes a couple minutes and when its done disconnect the mp3 player n turn it on and voila!!! it works again. if u need more help u can e-mail me at davidh9732@hotmail.com. hope this helps yall so u dont throw them away

Error

Can you play at least one music from your mp3 player? If yes, the file that you're trying to play when this message appears may be corrupted. Try having another copy of the music that you want to play on your mp3 player. If you can't play any music that you transferred, possible causes could be :

1. Your mp3 player was reformatted to another file system that is unrecognized by the mp3 player.

2. The flash memory of your mp3 player was bad
3. The songs that you're trying to transfer is not known by the player ( file types other than .mp3)

File Sytem Corrupted!

The dreaded "File System Corrupted" error is one that comes time and time again. Did you drop the player or hit it by accident? If so, then the pin connecting the battery to the micro hard drive has probably been disconnected. You can removed the back of the player with a screwdriver, but you risk tearing off the S/N sticker. If you decided to do it anyway, remove the back of the player and then simply fit the multi-pin connector back into the hard drive. Replace the back and screw it in, and then turn it on to see if it works. I did this with my old RD2762A, and it worked like a charm. Hope this helps!
