Question about Vehicle Parts & Accessories
2012 Ram 1500. These lights would worked intermittently for a time and then stopped. I finial found that if I unplug a the big plug just right of the brake pedal and replugged it (reset) (it has a white handle) the lights would work for the 10 minute power save mode and then would not work again until reset. Also if I started the truck after reset then would appear to only work a could minutes at first and appear to working longer now. Need to know what relay number that might be sticking and if it is in the fuse box in the engine compartment.
Locate the fuse that provides power for these lights and clean the prongs of the fuse using a knife ,razor blade or sandpaper. If this does not help,I would find out from the dealer if they list a module for these lights and if so replace it.hope this is helpful to you, good luck.
