The manual I just read says to unplug the unit from wall an allow to set for a couple of minutes. This will reset it. An code should go away. If not contact service for repair. Their web page has a service manual you can down load. Maybe repair yourself if possible. I would do the reset first.

I have an electronic West Bend mixer, I lost the beaters to it. How can I get some more?

Hi,Please have your manufacturing date codes near you and these codes can be found on the bottom of the Mixer head or near the attachment pin on the mixer.
Go to these sites and check for your particular beater

Pushing the start button, a code of 6_9d appears. What is the issue and how can I fix this?

It's telling you that the bowl guard is open. If the bowl guard is in place and closed then you could have a bad bowl guard switch.

My Hobart mixer is hard to start. I have to keep

take off the side cover where gear shifter is, you probably have the original arrow hart contactor in there ,that part is obsolete but you can get a kit from hobart to upgrade the control circuit

Pastry Chef said mixer will not start.

Depending on what you were mixing for 1/2 hour, you could have overheated & burned out the motor.

575 watt 6qt stand mixer. start out on low speed

Hi. If your mixer is still under warranty, call Kitchenaid, they are usually very good at replacing mixers under warranty.

If you're out of warranty, you'll need to order a new speed control board. Use the following link to download the parts catalog for your mixer.

http://shared.whirlpoolcorp.com/assets/pdfs/literature/Repair%20Part%20List%20-%208212278.pdf

You can remove and replace this board yourself. Use the drawings to assist you with the project.

If this solution has assisted you, please rate it. Good luck! ricardok45

Univex mixers

Im not bias on my opinion, but from the repairs i do on mixers hobart mixers are far superior than other manufactures.Hobart is over 100 yr old company that started with mixers and their service dept. is good.unlike any mixer out on the market they mirror off of hobart.

Hobart hl600 mixer

I know what these codes are: code 19 is that phase c is over current fault and code 23 is a motor stall fault.I would start by making sure you 3 phase wiring going into the mixer is there.I service these mixers as im a service tech for hobart.these units are very detailed and i can walk you thru some things to check but if you have an electrical problem you most likley will have to call a hobart service tech because we have special equipment to diagnose the fault.let me know it may be something simple as these mixers are usally maintenance free.
