SOURCE: Water Pressure Woes
There is a water level marked behind your machine; your outlet tube should not go below this level; the wall outlet drain should be high enough. Then your water will remain at the correct level in your machine. See that the valve in your wall to the inlet is completely open before you turn on the machine for your wash.
Your pump pumps waste water OVER the level marked on the rear of your machine. The water level marked is quite important for a successful wash.

Read your user manual - but I would suggest that you may not have setup the balance properly. Check the level of the machine and adjust to be as square as possible by adjusting the feet at the bottom. If the water isnt coming in on both hot and cold sounds like a common problem - perhaps the water level sensor is playing up or something else has been knocked during transportation of the machine when you moved house. Check your user manual for troubleshooting. Sounds dumb, but check that 'delay start' isnt selected also. check both hoses filters are not blocked.

SOURCE: Hi I have a hotpoint
First check the screens in the end of the hose and inside the water inlet valve. If clear you need to remove the top and check to see if you have power to the water inlet valve, there will be a solenoid for hot and one for cold. Check for power on the cold solenoid when washer is put into a fill cycle. If you have power replace the water inlet valve. The whole valve must be replaced. They are inexpensive and easy to replace.
