Right click my computer, go to properties, click on hardware and device manager. Make sure your laptop knows there is a bluetooth transmitter installed. If it does not show one you may send to the manufacturer if it is under warranty and they will repair it only if your laptop was intended to have bluetooth support on-board. If it is detected but has a yellow circle with an "!" inside, it needs a driver update in which you can provide us with a model number and manufacturer name for your bluetooth and we can retrieve you a link. If you are using an external bluetooth transmitter make sure you install the software as described in the user manual.
