The short is on the 24V side...I would put a 3 amp fuse in series with the Hot 24v line before it gets to the circuit board from the transformer you will have to replace again....have a few spare fuses....after having done that./...turn the power on and call for heat...Observe what happens and what stage of the cycle you're in when the fuse blows...Exhaust fan starts...Ignitor starts to warn up....etc...I need more info...shorts are hard enough to find as it is.......does it blow the fuse immediately...usually it will go through a few stages before you get to the problem piece....Make and Model of the furnace could also be helpful to me

You can try the 4 amp fuse thats on the inside of the unit, on the board, if you feel confident that there is 120v going to the unit. Having issues with the board can be a bad sign and not knowing what they have already done to it kinda leaves me in the dark, but you can try that and if the fuse blows again, you have other problems going on that they will have to trouble-shoot. The unit is still under the 5 year warranty so it might be best to try and get another board all together, you should only have to pay labor cost. It could be the transformer too, you can check it with a meter to see if your getting the 120v going in and 24v going out if capable. Hope this helps some and good luck!

the best way is to contact Goodman and ask them for the model, in base from the detail that you have. If you have some wiring diagram or instruc. manual you can identify it. if you do not have downloa give your model +mark+serial number and proceed:
