The bolt pattern for a 2007 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab should be depicted in a diagram on the owner's manual of your vehicle. You can access the owner's manual for your 2007 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab online at the Dodge website. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How do i get my tranny off the motor i almost got that berring off inside of it but it still wont come down and all bolts are off in a 2001 dodge stratus rt and i need to do it fast

remove the starter motor and then look through the hole and rotate the engine and their are 4 bolts that hold the torque converter to the drive plate ,unbolt then 4 bolts and the torque converter comes away with gearbox ,also refit this way because you can damage the seal between primary input shaft and the torque converter also the first pump drive ring,it has two slots around primary shaft that locate into the back of the torque converter.best of british with it

I need to seperate the engine and tranny on a 99 4x4 Dakota 3.9l. Seems to be a plate blocking access. Need to get to the torque converter bolts.

there is an inspection cover on the bottom of the bell housing you must remove to get to the torque converter bolts. you must rotate the fly wheel to access all the bolts. they make a tools for this, but a flat head screw driver works just as good, it just takes a little longer.

Rpm's jump up 200-400 in overdrive and when doing over 55 mph hwy

The rpm variation you are noticing is the torque converter slipping in and out of lockup. Most likely the torque converter clutch is failing, you will most likely need a new converter, if it's got a bunch of miles on it I'd probably freshen up the clutches while I had it out.

Check with Dodge for a TSB for delayed transmission engagement
I had a problem with the trans going into reverse. I had the Torgue converter replaced, some type of pump in the trans replaced, a complete seal kit and new thrust plates. Seems to work fine so far. I have an 06 dakota 4x4 V8. Luckily all replaced under warranty
