Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console
I keep putting in my r4 game and all it comes up with is a black screen with the word LOADING on it. what do i do and can i fix it so i can start playing some games ?
Two things might be wrong.. One you might have a knock off card ... if that is the case look for a genuine dealer. The other is that the R4 cards for the lite (depending on the card) can sometimes only hold data for a 2 gb micro sd card. Double check that you have not loaded everything on a sd card that is bigger than a 2gig ... one of the drawbacks with the R4 card... Other cards are capable of holding higher memory but they do cost more. For the dollar value the R4 is great and ease of use is great also .. the only drawback is that capacity that it can hold.
Like the post prior if you do have a sd card smaller than 2gigs go to the R4 site and download the current firmware for it and then reload you games, music, movies, etc ....
hope this helps

The best thing would probably be to completely reformat your sd card (not just delete the files) and put back on the latest firmware and games. There's a great tutorial on http://www.dscardworld.com with pictures and links to all the official software.
If you suspect that you have unstable fake clone version you can get a genuine card there too. I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it.
Best of luck!

Try re-installing the operating system onto the card. Go to www.r4ds.com download & unzip the kernel. This will create a folder with the operating system.Copy these files to the root of the SD card (There should be 2 files & 2 folders) After this, copy the .nds files also onto the root of the SD card, and the games should be visible & playable when you turn on the DS
NOTE: this will not work for the Nintendo DSi

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
