Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: how do i restore my dell back to factory settings

If you mean BIOS setting, then enter the BIOS, choose Restore Defaults.
If you mean your windows installation, use the Operating System reinstallation CD from DELL (the green CD, for Windows XP). After operating system installed, use your driver CD (usually the blue CD from DELL). If you don't have the CD, please contact Dell support center to get the CD (charges may apply).

SOURCE: acer aspire 6920 back to factory settings

Acer sent me these instructions.

The other way before Vista starts up is to tap ALT + F10 (at the same time repeatedly) when the computer is first switched on.. The window of opportunity is very small, so this may take a few attempts

Once you have tapped both the ALT and F10 repeatedly, you may see a screen showing:

“Edit Boot options for Microsoft Windows Vista”

If you see this, unfortunately, you have missed the window of opportunity, and you need to restart, and try again.

If you see this:
“Edit Boot options for Windows Setup” OR “Edit Boot options for Acer eRecovery”

Then it indicates that you have tapped the ALT + F10 correctly, and all you now need to do is press “Enter” and the Recovery program should load on your screen after a short pause..

In some cases, you may need to remove the battery (for notebooks only) and run the machine directly from the mains.

The Disk2Disk recovery feature allows you to recover the system without recovery CDs.

This will return your system to factory settings and will delete everything stored on the machine.
If possible we strongly advise backing up anything important on your machine before starting the recovery process.

Go back factory condition

Hello Cynthia,
There are several ways to achieve this.
Reset phone
The Reset feature allows you to set your phone options back to
the factory defaults.
  1. From Idle mode, touch Menu-> Settings -> Phone -> Reset phone.
  2. At the "All settings reset to factory defaults. Continue?" prompt, touch Yes to reset, or No to cancel. Once your phone has been reset to its default settings for those selected options, it will restart itself in order to incorporate the new settings.
Restore phone
The Restore feature allows you to delete any user information
that has been added, in addition to setting your phone options
back to the factory defaults.
  1. From Idle mode, touch Menu-> Settings -> Phone ->Restore phone.
  2. At the "All settings reset to factory defaults and all user data will be deleted. Continue?" prompt, touch Yes to reset, or No to cancel.
or

Warning! All your data including contacts, messages etc. will be lost! Copy all your necessary data/Contacts/Messages etc. to SIM or make backup on your PC before full reset!

Restore factory settings 4162

What do you mean by factory settings? You have to be more specific. Also why would you need to do that. A laptop doesn't really have factory settings its not like an appliance or a phone.

Sir when i play songs...write msg...or dial the call...after 2mints gone the screen gone to white.and song , msg and call is disconnected.or close..give me the solution..i am very upset

hi, i think two things is causing this,
1. it could be that the phone is infected with virus, so i would advice you to scan your phone for virus.
2. you could equally try to set your phone back to factory setting but please NOTE: IF YOU ARE SETTING YOUR PHONE BACK TO FACTORY SETTING, MAKE SURE YOU BACK-UP ALL YOUR CONTACTS, MESSAGES AND ANY APPLICATION YOU SAVED ON THE PHONE MEMORY to avoid lossing them after restoring to factory settings.
cheers

My music player displays operation failed and the themes on the phone are corrupt

Hello,

This a software problem, due to exposure to a corrupted file or software on the phone.
The solution is for you to restore the factory settings of the phone or you get the phone to a repairman to flash for you.

To restore factory settings,
  1. Go to your phones menu,
  2. Select the settings,
  3. Scroll to restore factory settings,
  4. It will prompt you to enter a security code,
  5. Enter the phones security code not the sim cards security code in order for you not to block the phone.
  6. The phone will go back to the way it was when you first bought it,
Take note, restoring the factory settings or flashing the phone will cause you to loose the data stored on the phone.

To flash the phone, you need to get a repairman who has the software and cable so He will flash the phone for you. I am a 100% sure that will solve the problem.

Take care and good luck
