If light comes on and oven still heats then probably needs new fan motor. best to seek out an appliance engineer.

Hi, I have a Electrolux EOG 900 builtin gas oven & gas grill, fan very noisy. Its 10 years old, willl the grill & oven pack in if the fan gives up altogether. Would it cost alot to fix. Hope to...

They won't pack up.. The fan is there to circulate the warm air. It might not heat up or cook as quickly as it used too. It will not cost much to fix though, labor will usually cost more than the part itself.

Good Luck

Hi i have an Electrolux eou63102x double oven but the fan has stoped working in the bottom oven can you tell me the most commen part that may need replacing

You really need to establish if the fan is getting a supply to it, if it is, and it is not working, then you need to fit a new fan motor.
If no power to it, then could be a faulty switch, or break in the wiring, a bad connection.or an internal fuse that has gone.
Hope this helps.

Electrolux oven wont heat up after power cut

hiya
sounds like the fan element could have blown, causing the electrics to trip out. best thing to do is remove all the racking
and then the rear panel that covers the fan and element. if he element has blown most of the time it will be visible.

hope this helps

please dont forget to rate the helpfulness of this reply thanks kj

Electrolux Oven EOB6630, similar to above

Hi, I've had a similar problem with my electrolux EOB4633. I've replaced the "thermal cut out unit" and it's working now. Basically this unit switches on the outer casing fan ( on top in my oven ) to keep the casing from overheating. When the thermal cut out doesn't work it fails to switch on the fan and the casing overheats, the oven then cuts out completely until it has cooled down and the cycle starts again.

The bit to be replaced ( part no 8996619267611 ) is located on top of the oven, under the outer cover, just behind the timer & selector switch. It's a small ( 1inch long ) silicon sleeve with 4 wires coming out of it, just unplug the wires and replace it with the new one ( unplug/disconnect the power to the oven, or switch of the power at the mains switch first ), then remove the oven outer top cover ( all you need is a screwdriver ). You'll see the offending unit, probably tie wrapped to one of the wire bundles, quite easily - mine was blackened and charred.

Good luck!
