What year? Try looking under distributer on side. You will have to mark the distributer then loosen to turn it to get at ign module. Also you may need a special tool available from local parts store. After installation you will need to turn distributer back to mark you previously made for timing.

1988 Ford F150 5.0 .When at a stop wants to go dead. at the speed of 35-55 and at 65 the truck will start to ****. I have changed the spark plugs changed the rotor in the distubor

Mine did the same thing. It has something to do with the ignition module in the distributor on mine. Sometimes on those models the distributor goes bad and doesn't throw a check engine light. The ignition module may be a good place to start considering the part is only $40 dollars and takes about 10 mins to change. On the front of the distributor right at the base. (frnt of the motor)

Wont start or has problems starting

Chek fuel filter first, and replace if it hasn't been changed in a while. Then if it still has problems starting, check ignition module. Make sure all grounds are tight and making good contact as well.

Truck cuts off while driving down the road.

Replace the TFI module. Ford back in 1986 thur 1993 had problems like the one you wrote about. TFI module gets hot and shuts car or truck off then when it cools sometmies starts and sometimes not.

1995 F150, 5.0 ltr. Always starts when cold. Drive

If it has the ignition module attached to distributor with 2 small hex head screws, and plug in harness to it. ( 4'-5" long x 1-1/2"- 2" wide approx.) I would change it. That was a common symptom of those.

My 1990 F150 will not start sometimes. If I turn the switch to the on position and the fuel pump continues to run after 5 Sec , It will not start. If the pump stop running after 5 Sec , it will start.

when u turn the key to run but don't start the fuel pump shuts off after 5 seconds + or - 2 seconds, this is normal, the common cause of no start on your truck is the TFI ignition module on the distributor, subject of many recalls for failing, also change the stator inside the distributor, use factory parts, aftermarket parts fail very quickly. here is a picture of the parts.

This is the TFI ignition module.
