Try driver download from her http://www.startech.com/Cards-Adapters/USB-3.0/Cards/2-Port-PCI-SuperSpeed-USB-3-Adapter-Card-with-SATA-Power~PCIUSB3S22

Although I dont understand your statement " will not read a card reader" since you state a problem with the Syba Infozone cable.
Is the problen your USB 3 port or the Syba cable.

Testimonial: "My mistake, it is a usb 3 port, not the syba cable.I did load and execute the driver, but when I connected the card reader PNY 8gb (which works on other computers),it could not find the driver, even though I directed it to the exe file.Extra info: Windows Vista 32 bit, Gigabyte H87 M-D3H motherboard, with a Intel i5 Processor 4670 LGA1150. Also tried rebooting, executing the file again(it said it was repairing itself) but still no go. Thanks anyway"

Is this in Device Manager? Did you notice this after the Win 7 upgrade? If so , it's a common problen when upgrading, Is that the only issue? Your Card Reader work? Modem? Co-processor? I have a HP Pavilion DV9320us I loaded Win 7 64bit Ultimate on with similar issues, modem, co-processor, card reader, etc. Use the Win Vista drivers, modify the drivers for Win 7. I have a video card radeon hd 2400 series for vista 64 bit compatibility, will it work on xp 32? what can i do to make it work?

Hi There,
Yes it will work with Windows XP operating system.
1. If you're going to change the Vista operating system to WIN XP 32bit, you have to find WIN XP 32bit drivers for *********** board as well as the HD2400. Install Xp 32 bit
2. For HD 2400 drivers just click the link. ATI The link includes Catalyst, OpenCL and Display drivers.
3. Wait for the download to finish, Run the 32bit display driver and follow onscreen messages reboot if prompted.

A. If you're going to use it in another machine just download the display driver and attach the graphic card.

Hopefully this information helps.
Thank you for using FixYa.

go to control panel -> system and security -> system -> device manager. that has a list of all the hardware on the computer, look for any items that have X ! or ? next to them. Could be that you don't have a driver loaded for that device.

Optiplex 520 pci video cards Dual monitors & Vista

There is a work-around for Vista. Look here.

A little bit down you can read:
"A user could force the installation of a XPDM driver for each of these devices, and therefore get heterogeneous multi-adapter multi-monitor to work as in Windows XP."

If you can go that way depends mainly on the manufacturer of the video card driver.

If you are going to sell all your nice 22" monitors - let me know...;-)

If you have any more questions, just come back here and leave a comment - I'm happy to help.

Sounds like the system is trying to boot from the drives attached to the controller. Go into your setup and make sure the system is set to boot from the proper drive.

Video card not working with xp sp3

The drivers for XP and Vista are different. You will need to install the drivers for XP as well as Vista for dual boot operations. Make sure you install the XP driver in the XP partition and the Vista Driver in the Vista partition. This should solve the problem.

Targus Universal 32 in 1 memory card reader/writer will not connect to my computer. I have Windows XP Proffesional 64bit. Is it a 64bit problem? If so are there 64bit drivers i can download?

Guys...I was pretty upset when I could not find the driver for my Targus Universal 32 in 1 card reader/writer. That's what brought me to this site. However after reading under the "Technical Specifications on the insert (instructions etc..), I noticed that Windows 2000/XP/Vista computers do not need drivers. Says just plug in and use (which I was going to do in the first place).

You have to put your card in it first and use one of the USB ports on you CPU (not your monitor..if you have that). IT WORKS GREAT!!!

Wireless card not functioning/disabled after loading XP in a Compaq Presario C700T CTO Notebook PC

The wireless is not going to turn on and off via the switch properly until we get the drivers loaded to make it work. There are 3 possible types of wireless card it could be, so we have to find out the exact model number of your system. On the bottom there should be a label that has a P/N or part number listed. what are those numbers. Here's an example of the label:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00033108&lc=en&cc=us&lang=en&os=2093&product=3632144&dlc=en

or

http://tinyurl.com/35dt4h

we need the info listed for #1, #2 and #3. Then we should be able to determine which adapter you have, and then we can (hopefully) find some Windows XP drivers for you.

Cloud storage and file storage - DataAlign In vanilla terms, a backup or the process of backing up, refers to the copying and archiving of computer data so it may be used to restore the original after a data loss event. Backups have two distinct purposes. The primary purpose is to recover data after its loss, be it by data deletion or corruption. The simplest definition of a computer backup is an exact copy. In the case of computer files, we are referring to copies of the original files that you have on your laptop, desktop, or external drive. Creating a backup of original content means having that data saved in two places, but it's also important to make sure that those two places aren't on the same type of device. For example, if you have 3 copies of a working document on your computer, if your computer crashes, you will still lose all three. This makes the backup method and medium, an important thing to consider for your backup strategy. With the kind of Online Cloud Backup technology being used these days, it is extremely important to back up your files. Ideally, we store data files, movies, music, photos and our official documents on the computer. With the ever-changing technology, desktops and laptops have reduced in cost, and the quantum of storage inside them has surged considerably over the last few years. Unfortunately, storing all your data in only one place is risky. Accidental deletion, theft, computer loss, natural disaster is just some of the reasons that could cost you heavily as you stand out the chance to lose the data you've spent so long generating and collecting. Having an excellent backup strategy Computer Data Backup is the only way to battle the unexpected loss of data.
