Probable Causes:

(1) Sleep Timer has started (You should get a on-screen Notification in this case, before Auto Turn Off). Turn Off Sleep Timer to get rid of it.

(2) Something is wrong with your TV (Get it checked at Authorized Service Center if Warranty is active, if not, contact any Television Engineer or Electronics Engineer).

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. My Sharp LE820 Aquos LED TV recently auto turn itself off, when I turn it back on, a few good 10 minutes or so later it automatic turn itself off again.

Please check that the sleep timer did not somehow get set. If it's not the sleep timer, check if the panel stays ON longer after it's been off for awhile to cool down. Possibly a heat problem with the power supply or main board.

I can not program my AT&T remote control to control my SHarp DVD BluRay BD-HP20. I have tried the easy find feature and every Sharp code I have found on the internet and the AT&T website for Sharp...

Hi!

You may try these codes: 1311, 3163, 1312, 3164, 3176, 2174 and 3177
If none of these codes work try the steps bellow:

Programming with the Automatic Code Finder
The automatic code finder cycles through all possible codes for the type of equipment you are programming until the correct code has been found.

  1. To program your remote control with the automatic code finder feature make sure that the Sharp AQUOS Blu-ray Disc Player is ON.
  2. To control your disk player: With the equipment on, PRESS AND HOLD DOWN, the AUX Mode Key on the remote control. The mode keys are located across the top of the AT&T U-verse remote control. While holding down the AUX Mode Key, press and release the OK button. If done correctly the Mode Keys will blink twice. The remote is now ready to be programmed.
  3. The next step is to enter the code for the automatic code finder feature. That code is 922. Enter the code 922 using the Remote Control's keypad. You have 10 seconds to enter this code before the remote times out. When 10 seconds have elapsed the Mode Keys will flash once. If this happens just start over.
  4. The next step is start the automatic code finder search. Make sure you aim your remote control at the equipment. Then press and release the play button on the remote control. Now press the Fast Forward key multiple times until the equipment turns off. Then press Enter to save the code. Your remote now has the correct code. If done successfully the Mode buttons will flash three times. Press the Power button again to turn on the Disk Player.
  5. When the code has been entered correctly, the appropriate Mode Key will flash three times. To check to see if this code works, press the Power button. If the Disk Player does not turn off, then the code is wrong and we need to try another code.
Keep me posted for clarifications.

Thanks.

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, automatic,4.0, 4x4, - Makes a jerking motion almost as if it goes out of gear for 2 seconds and kicks back in). But it only does it on SHARP left hand turns only. It changes gears...

Check your transmission fluid level. If the unit is low, the oil sloshes away from the pickup and a burp of air runs through the unit causing momentary slippage. if you go around the same turn slower that doesn't happen. In rare cases an internal shaft bushing or seal can be bad and the shaft can move having the same result...but as I said, that's rare.

How do you use the automatic tuner

Hi, you have to clip it to the part where the keys are and turn the tuner on and which ever strig you will play will be indicated on the tuner and will tell you if it is flat or sharp, they you adjust your string by turning your key clockwise or conterclockwise. If you're to sharp don't forget to go a litte lower then bring it back to the right note. I hope it will help you. Mike
