It's either:

the lcd
video (GPU)
motherboard
lcd cable.

It's really hard to say without being there in person. I'd recommend having a local tech check it out.

Dell inspirion 6000 is showing "loading PBR2.....done. NTLDR IS MISSING.HOW TO FIX

Use the Restoration Disk. When asked choose Repair.
(Non-Destructive Installation)

You are missing basic Windows files. Boot loader files.
Also you may have to prepare to replace the harddrive. May have bad Sectors on it.
Means I would copy off all personal information, after getting that laptop going again, or you may lose it.

Dell 6000 power problem?

Troubleshooting a power problem is fairly simple:
1 Try a different AC adapter, see if there is any change 2 If system will not power on with a known good or new AC adapter, then the power connection on the motherboard is likely damaged and the motherboard will need to be replaced.

That is normal, to flash green during charging. Once charge is complete it should go solid green.

It will not do any thing. no lights or nothing. Will not start.

If no lights turn on or the fan doesn't spin, try removing the battery and checking the pin connectors. You may have bent one and it is not making a proper connection. Could also have an obstruction. If this doesn't work, try replacing the power adapter. But most adapters have a light which tells u if it is working. If it's off...that's your problem. If the adapter works, replace the battery, you may have overcharged it to the point where u killed it completely.
