Question about Samsung SGH Cell Phones
I want to connect my samsung montage sph-390 to the internet using the internet connection from my mac powerpc g4 (non-intel) running os x 10.5.8. both the cell phone and the mac are bluetooth enabled and paired and able to connect to each other, but only for file and contact transfer so far. i was wondering if i can use either the internet sharing or bluetooth sharing or some other method? the services available on the cell phone, according to the bluetooth preferences on the mac are: A2DP Source; File Browsing; OPP Service; Phonebook Access PSE; Remote Control; Service Discovery; Voice Gateway.
Does your mac support bluetooth hotspot ...

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Please see the followoing page for all the spec's on your 6030.
(click show missing features to show all features)
Unfortunatly that model is not bluetooth capable, you can purchase a bluetooth transmitter for it, or upgrade the phone to one with bluetooth capability.
See this page for more info on bluetooth transmitters.
Good Luck and hope this helps

Most samsungs comes with only A2DP BT profile, this means that it can only pair up with BT headset device. If you know how to navigate your phone, go to the BT settings and check the profiles.
