Hi! I am going to give you a solution assuming you have Windows 7. If this is the case, you should right-click on the bottom right corner of your desktop (right-click on the time/date...), where the icon for volume control is located... and select Properties. You should then see a screen where you can choose to turn on or off the icons/notifications for battery power.Another option is: Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Notification Area Icons and will find it. Then turn on your battery power icon/notifications and you must be ok!

My pendo wont fully charge, and now it won't come on at all

Lithium ION batteries are usually rechargeable. The use mode for these batteries is that there are a set number of recharges that equate to the life of the battery. Usually that life is approximately 1,000 charges.
If you use your battery to 50% then recharge, you can do this ~2,000 times. As the life of the battery is used up, the maximum charge lessens which means where you may have had 8 hours of play time when the battery was new, you will only have 6 hours as the battery life is used up.
In order for a Lithium ION battery to recharge there must be at least a small amount of charge left as a "seed" for that recharge. If you drain a L-ION battery down to zero, it may never recharge again or the max charge will be reduced to an insignificant amount of the original full charge. eg instead of 8 hours you may only get 15 minutes, or 5 minutes, or no minutes.
You are much better off recharging when 50% depleted than using it up til your product stops.
L-ION batteries cannot be repaired only replaced. Most cheap products using L-ION batteries cannot have their batteries replaced.

Increase your Android Smartphone's Battery Life

Today, a large amount of consumers are using Android Smartphones, whether they be the DROID brand, something from HTC, or another brand of Android. They're great phones all around, but one of the extreme downsides of owning an Android Smartphone is the great amount of battery life it consumes throughout daily use.

Handling the Basics;

Some of the basic steps that can be taken include many of the options found within the Settings Application in your app drawer.
  1. WiFi & Bluetooth are often unused by the average user on the go, so switch them off when you don't need them! WiFi & Bluetooth often will scan for connections, and this scanning will drain your battery. To disable your WiFi &/OR Bluetooth, select your Settings app, click Wireless & networks, and toggle the check boxes beside WiFi &/OR Bluetooth.
  2. Turn down your screens brightness! go to Settings, click on Display, then click Brightness. You'll be able to slide the option up and down, the higher it is, the more energy it uses, the lower it is, the less energy you use. I personally selected the Automatic Brightness option which provides a well rounded approach.
  3. Disable your GPS services when not in use! Like the WiFi & Bluetooth, GPS will constantly eat up your battery if left on. To fix this, go to settings, click on Location & security settings, and deselect the boxes that correspond to your needs.
  4. Use the Power Control Widget to quickly change these options on the go. Long press on your homescreen, select widgets, and select power control. By using the power control widget, you can select and deselect these options with the click of a button.
Applications

Some applications you might want to demo to help save battery life are the following;
  • JuiceDefender
  • APNdroid
  • ES Task Manager
Using these applications can help reduce the battery life you use throughout your daily Android use!

If you combine the applications and the basic methods, you should be able to substantially increase your Android Smartphone's Battery Life.

WHAT CAN I DO TO SAVE BATTERY LIFE ON MY SAMSUNG GALAXY ATTAIN SCH-R920

There are many free apps on the google play that can assist in saving battery life. Each one is slightly different and it really depends on your preference. For example, JuiceDefender can help you maintain proper profiles for your phone so it uses the least amount of power possible depending on the situation. Or ES task manager which helps your delete running processes and apps.

Other than apps the best way to save battery is really to change certain settings.
1. Do not use live wallpaper. Although they look nice they **** up a lot of battery life.
2. Turn off Wi-fi, data, gps, bluetooth when you are not using them. They also drain battery like crazy. you can get a simple widget to easily control them on your front screen.
3. Turn down the brightness of the screen and amount of time it stays on because typically the screen is one of the largest battery hogs.
4. Disable apps that automatically sync like email or certain games.
5. Limit the amount of storage space used. so uninstall things you don't need.
6. If your phone is rooted, there are even more options and apps to limit the things running on your phone to increase battery life.

Sounds like a very sleek notebook there, Your power management may be influenced by the

PowerSmart button

" located above the keyboard that allows" you "to easily extend battery life. A simple press of the button activates the advanced power savings settings, traditionally a tedious procedure accessed through numerous software-based steps.

This one-button approach simplifies the process."

Your choice may influence the amount of battery life you get. If that doesn't fix it, then I've got no idea.
