Look through the settings in the game you are playing, for keyboard and mouse settings. There is usually a section for assigning functions to the mouse. If you are not using it in a game, you may need driver software for the mouse. Contact the manufacturer. If there is no driver software available, you may need to purchase a new one that comes with software for that purpose.
its quite possible either your hard drive is malfunctioning or problems are with your cpu .has your system been running hot ?let me know.have you tried getting into recovery manager press alt+f10 if you can get in you can access factory replace which will give you a fresh set of windows (the caution with this action is you lose all your data so please think about this before going to this solution!)
The first act is a pure damage-gasm. There's plenty of ammo on the wing, so use your rockets with abandon! Bomber formations are the fattest target sets, strafe them into oblivion. Picking up the upgrade "Stall Strips" lowers your minimum speed, and makes bomber killing abit easier.
After your killing spree is over, you have to kill parachutes. It's not even fair, but this is your first chance for the XBox 360 achievement "Great Streak", which is a 12 kill run.
Wireless keyboards shut down after not detecting changes in input over a time period. This is usually Hardware related in the keyboard to base station so there is no way to fix it using the particular keyboard.
My recommendation would be to go to a USB corded keyboard which would not have to have the power restrictions that a wireless one does.
Alternately if using a first person shooter, tap the strafe keys while you are running long distances, or in racing tap a unused key to keep the keyboard in alive transmit mode.
