If you'll look up into the trigger assembly inside the trigger guard you'll see a set screw. I've got one of those old Rugers and supposedly that set screw is for adjusting trigger pull wt.

Do you mean that you have never been able to cock the rifle ever
Like get the piston to lock up to the sear if so
Return to where you purchased it and get them to sort it

Same as the other guy who asked....and it's more common than you'd believe....try turning the knob all the way THE OTHER WAY. It sounds like you're going backwards on the elev knob.

There is a tiny spanner nut over the tiny "O" ring seal for the CO2 cartridge. You must find a tool to remove that, it is pinned in there and it will likely break when you try to remove it, if so sorry but the gun is then just so much junk.
