How do you set the tax functio on a T 1210 calculator by Triumph Adler

step 1: Turn the calculator on
step 2: type in the tax percentage; the digits
step 3: push <TAX SHIFT>
step 4: push <+TAX>
step 5: just see the display blinking "RATE TAX %" while showing your input rate
step 6: when blinking has stopped, push <CE>
Now you're done.
You can check by entering the number "100" and then push <+TAX> to see the inclusive amount and then pus <-TAX> to see the exclusive amount again.

What button or formula do I use to calculate percentages

ok. first things first, percent mens, out of 100. you simply replace the percent with fractions. say you have $400. your workers get 20% of the money made each day. 20 out of 100=1/5 of 100.so your workers get 1/5 of the money which is 400 divided by 5 wich equals 80. i hope this helps. if you still have trouble, serch on the internet for the formula for calculating percent.
