Hi

Can you give to me the Brand and model please!

LE error code message this means the water does not drain and also putting too much detergent in or to run several loads with no detergent to clean it out. Your washer will not drain or work 'cause your outlet filter is clogged or an unusually heavy load. The small door is on the left side front bottom of your washer. Remove the door with a putty knife or thin butter knife inserted in the middle top of the access panel door. Drain the water from the filter housing by pulling the tube out of the clip and unplugging, allow it to run into a bucket while the machine is in spin only mode. This mode is achieved when the washer is first powered on press the spin button until no spin is reached then run. Run in this mode until no water is draining from the tube in the bucket. Keep the tube as low as possible. When water has stopped coming out of the tube turn off the washer and unplug from the wall. This step is important because this resets the fault. Expect some water to come out when you open the filter housing by turning counterclockwise until you can pull the filter from its housing. Clean out your filter, return to housing turning clockwise until seated and recap the tube and place in the holder, refit the cover and plug back into the wall socket fixed. You may also need to lighten the load a bit but I always try full on load anyways. If it fails again just lighten, unplug wait >1 minute then replug and run. Just try this all so it works normally again.

I Hope this help you as Solved..

My whirpool wtw4850q1 top load takes too long to sense a load, then fills to the top regardless of load size. Once filled it won't wash, just stops. I can still drain and spin, not rinse and spin.

it doesn't sense a load
just fills with water to the setting that you select
as water runs in there is a water pressure applied in a small hose connected to the control that reacts when that level setti9ng is reached
at that point it turns of the tap and moves on to the wash cycle
indicates you have a program board problem

How do you know if the water level sensor is working

Try setting the level to low...with the lid open, you can watch the water fill. Once the water gets to the proper level, it should change to the agitate mode. If you now switch the level to a higher level, it should stop agitating and start filling again. Note: some machines require you to turn the level control knob to the HIGH setting before it will change to a new level.

Hi, when pulling the select knob, no water, just the agitator.

Bad timer, the timer is not telling your system the correct setting and just jumping to a setting of its choice. Once the timer is replaced everything will work just fine.

GE washer does not agitate does not stop filling up

If your washer is filling until it overflows without agitating, and will stop filling if you turn machine off or interupt power to it, the machine is not seeing that it is full. This may be caused by a blocked water level tube (usually some "goop" where it connects to the tub), a hole in the water level tube (look near the suspension rod or where a mouse may have chewed a hole in it), or a bad water level switch. You do not state a model number, or even if it is a top loading or front loading machine, so that is the most information I am able to provide at this point.

Agitator starts at begining of cycle before washer is full

Please be carful as running the agitator without enough water will overheat and kick out the motor, however it should be ok when it resets itself.
Yes, the machine should stop agitating when you lift the lid so this too is part of the problem.
After looking at the print I can only suggest that the cam contacts in the timer ( contacts 12 and 14) that start the motor are burned and stuck together.
