Why engine check come and go when it is started?

i suggest that you have the fault codes read as that may be a coded flash for a reported fault. have the codes read and fix what is causing it to flash.

Suzuki liana diagnostic port location

pretend we are blind.
what country.??
06, Liana.
what engine, Gas or Diesel???
there are 2 systems. OBD1 and OBD2
the hood stickers usually tell you which it is. (obd2 certified)
if car is OBD2 cert then any cheap but new scan tool works.
if car is USA car the OBD2 port is near the knees, 16pins
the spec, call out 1meter from steering shaft center. USA spec.
OBD2 is a USA spec. so...... where are you......

see here the car and all the variants.
see why we dont know, until you say so.

On my suzuki liana 1.6 2004 the airbag light keeps on

that means there is a fault in this system.
we scan it and read the Bxxxx codes.
in the suzuki shop (LOL finding one) the use a special factory SRS air bag tool.
my fancy scan tool can not do Suzuki/s
so take it in and get it scanned, by any shop with a SRS scanner that works in suzuki,

SUZUKI LIANA 2002 ENGINE CUTTING OUT INTERMITTANTLY

Not sure if you have already figured this out- or just sold your car, but I have been having the same problem and had a bit of a search around forums etc. Looks like it is the Crank Angle Sensor which needs to be replaced. I am about to go and get my car fixed so fingers crossed this is the miracle cure. Here is a link to the forum discussion on the issue.

Does a 2002 Aerio have a timing chain or a belt?

Also known as a Liana in some markets, this may have either a "G" series or a "J" series motor in it. This can be checked by finding the engine number - either G16B123456 or J18A123456. The G series is belt driven, while the J series is chain driven (2 chains).

Suzuki liana 2003 only done 14000 km will only run for 20 minutes

Have you checked all fuses for the cooling fans? Seems to be that the car is warming up to temp and then some, and protecting itself from overheating by shutting down the engine.
