Question about Galaxy Radios DX-2517 CB Radio
Was installing brand new earphones and the input area arched a tad. the receive slowly started going down for 2 mins then nothing at all. Any ideas? static electricity? Need help ..thanks

Microphones are the most handled object with a CB radio and this is where it is most likely to find the problems. Basically a Galaxy radio in a base station box, and 3 out of ten develop problems, mostly power supply problems.
I would suspect the mic first. Best way is to use a different mic and see if the problem goes away. Next try the radio on an external DC supply or battery. Let me know what happens from there..... firstname.lastname@example.org
