Question about Washing Machines
My washer/dryer keeps tripping my electricity it also sparks badly before tripping,I have been told it could be the earth shorting but don't no where to find the earth inside the machine.Can u assist and does this sound to you as a possible solution.Thanks

you seem to know what your doing. yes you do have to remove the motor in order to remove those carbon brushes, while your at it, you can also adjust the screwing/bearings of the bolts to hinder the machine from moving a lot.

First thing to check is mains filter. have replaced lots on this model!! This is located where the cable comes into the machine.Usually obvious visually if burnt.

Remove top cover, and unplug motor, try it, and if it does not trip, then motor is causing prob.
If it still trips, then heater is probably causing problem.
Please rate my advice.
