The oil and gas is probably bad if it was stored with them. I would change out the oil and gas and try then. If it still doesnt start change out the spark plug. SHould start right up after its primed.

What causes the Clutch drum gear that drive the chain to go bad ? my chain eats a groove all the way through it aftr about 12 hrs of cutting I have replaced it 3 times now.

The chain you should be using should be a .325 pitch and not a 3/8.

Never over tighten the chain, it will wear and stretch with time, which is why you should regularly check the chain tension. To get it right you should be able to lift 2 drive links clear of the bar. The chain will naturally wear groves into the spur sprocket, there is no conversion to a rim spricket for this model. Rim sprockets allow the chain to move along the sprocket easier and takes the wear away form the clutch drum.

Husqvarna 372xp won't start... Mysterious

I recently bought a brand new 372XP and spent the first day trying to start it as per the instruction manual with no success, never even fired once. Removed the plug to find plenty of fuel and that the plug has a good spark. Left it until the next day mainly to allow my arm to recover (& scour the internet for clues). I found a forum that said not to use the decompressor and sure enough without the use of the decompressor button it fired first go with the choke on then I reset the choke & it ran properly on the second pull. The decompressor button can be reset with fine nosed pliers or removal of the top cover by undoing three screws. Good luck it's a great saw once you know how to start it.

Chain brake broken could this be a reason for when cutting it pulls or cuts to the left or is it out of sync

Pulling to one side or the other usually a result of un even sharpening. Doesn't happen often with pro sharpened chains.

Your chain broke because it was weak ... or a few other reasons. Dont fix it ... not worth it when the dim possibilities are considered. Toss it and get a new chain or two or three or more.

Many saw specialists suggest you have a dozen chains or so., Rotate them through use ... when they are done for, replace the lot as well as replacing the clutch and maybe the bar as well.

How engine oil i put?

You mix the petrol with "2 stroke oil" at a ratio of 40:1. Use good quality 2 stroke oil like Husqvarna or Stihl rather than the cheaper ones you get in service stations.

You also need to use Chain Oil which goes in the opening marked Oil. You can get chain oil from any tool hire company or hardware store. It needs to be refilled each time you refill the fuel mix.

How can i see the price about husqvarna chain saw

You have a few options, you could 1. look on ebay, there are normally fair accurate prices for new and used saws 2. Visit a local saw shop (fairly common in even lightly populated areas) or 3. just go to http://www.husqvarna.com/us/. Hope this helps

Husqvarna 137 chain saw - put a new plug in and won't start run if you put a small amount of gas in plugfor just a second or so made sure gas line is not stopped up from tank to carb. less than 2 yrs...

Sounds like the diaphragms in the carburetor have gotten dry and won't flex anymore. Install a new kit in the carb and recalibrate the screws. You should be good to go.

Husqvarna 235e will not stay running

Take the saw back for warranty service. We have a Husky #435 that had starting problems when new last year--warranty service replaced the ignition module the first trip, then a little later, they replaced the carburetor--it has worked very well since. I suspect that Husqvarna has had problems with our ethanol blended fuels. Hope this helps!

Not starting No spark

Not common, but it can happen to any saw over time. Try a new plug first and recheck--make sure the ignition switch is set to run. If still nothing, remove the case on the flywheel side to expose the flywheel and ignition module. Check the module pole gap to the flywheel magnets with a thin business card. If ok, remove the ignition switch wire from the module and recheck spark. If now works, check the wire and switch. If still nothing, time for a new module. Hope this helps!

I have had my chain saw in the shop for repairs for 5 weeks. I this normal time for a repair. I am pretty frustrated. It was brought in because it would not stay running. I was told that they were still...

If purchased from a big box store and repaired locally that is normal.
It should have had a 2 year warranty. when did you purchase it? The repair shop can have a great deal of influence over whether it is a warranty repair or not, even if beyond the warranty period. Be nice to them. HTH
