While you can try to dislodge the fly by tilting the TV slightly -FORWARD- only (not to the sides or backward), or by the use of creative direction of compressed air through various vent grilles, there is indication that this model of television has a chassis intrusion detection, in which case opening any part other than the lamp replacement door will cause the TV to claim you are violating the digital copyright protection system and stop working properly.

What is a steeple cast in fly fishing

A steeple cast is a move made by sending the fly high above you to backcast, rather than behind you as would normally be done. When the fly is high, you snap it forward to its target. The steeple cast is used when there is no adequate space at your back for a normal backcast. Wanna see it? Look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxpz-rO9Dbc

How to fix shadow (stain) projected onto screen by projector Sanyo PLC-SW30

This could be showing the signs of the lamp needing replacement. if not dust has accumulated (clean filters) onto the mirrors in the projector.

There is a shadow in the upper left corner of the screen

someone is going to have to look inside by either removing the rear upper part of the set or removing the entire front screen---neither is easy to do. But considering your trouble I would not be surprised if the mirror is cracked---the entire front screens would have to be removed to replace the mirror--special mirror and special handling--I have seen several break when someone is not careful putting in.

Shadow on Flat Screen TV

Projection TV correct? This may take some work but it is common for a spec of dust to settle onto the Mirror inside the TV, The back side of the TV screen or onto the Lens from which the Video image is projected. Some TVs have ports that allow you to access the inside of the TV from the side, others you must remove the screen.

This is not something to do every day or every week and it will not improve the picture. You only do this when you notice that it is dirty. Any more than that and you yourself will create a bigger problem. ONLY LIGHTLY DUST the screen. Soaps, water and windex will leave streaks, damage the screen and cause more trouble.

Projection TVs are the eqivalent of a big flashlight showing onto a wall. Put you hand in front of the light and you get a shadow.

Inside you TV there is a light (the TV picture) that bonces of a mirror attached to the inside of the back of the TV. The light reflects off the mirror onto the back of the screen. You view this refelected image from the front. Spiders commonly make webs inside the TV that appear in the picture. Dust Bunnies may get blown into an area and become stuck in the way. Sometimes a lite tap, shake or blow may remove this also.

Tv repair

Hi, If the picture is all there (I`m assuming it is from your description) then you have something between the top of the tubes and the mirror, in other words a spiderweb or something that is interfering with the image getting to the mirror, you`ll need 2 people to do this, unplug the cables move the tv out into the middle of your living room and remove the covers from the back of the set, (lots of screws) be carefull when you take out the last screws from the top back cover as it will be HEAVY, there is a large mirror bolted onto the inside back cover so treat it gently it`s veery expensive, do not clean with windex, warm water only , this should expose whatever is in the optical path, good luck, BMW Rider.

1/2 the screen is viewable

You would be wrong. Lamps do not do that. They either work or they don't, they do not cast shadows or give half an image.

What is going on is the light tunnel has failed. It is a small, 4-sided mirrored tunnel that focuses the light into the optical chamber. It is directly behind the color wheel. I've seen this probelm dozens of times.
