SOURCE: I need the instructions for GE 15150 digital timer

The GE 15154 and GE 15150 have same manuals.
Difference between both timer is one has 2-prong outlet and other has 3-prong outlet.

Why does my timer buzz and lights flicker on and off?

The lower priced dimmers are only rated for 400 Watts. If your switch is controlling more than 400 Watts, then you have a problem--with a potential fire waiting to happen. Add up the wattage of each light bulb you are controlling with the switch to determine if you have less or more than 400 Watts. They do make dimmers rated for up to 1000 Watts.

If the problem isn't wattage, I suspect you may be using your dimmer to control a motor (like a ceiling fan motor). If this is the case, you have the wrong kind of switch: one designed for lighting, not motors. They do make dimmers designed for motors; they don't buzz when you dial them down.

Why won't my ml44t transformer turn the connected lights on or off?

1) Copy following link for installing and troubleshooting power pack
http://waterheatertimer.org/Malibu-power-pack-stopped-working.html

2) Test outlet for power.
Temporarily run extension cord from another outlet.
Connect wires to terminals a and b ... make sure no insulation is under screw plate.
44 watt power pack will operate 44 watts of low-voltage lights (12Volt).
If 300 watts of lights are installed on line, then lights probably will not light up.

ML600 won't turn off

The clock module for power pack is not sold separately.
Set timer to auto using override knob so lights are on, then plug power pack into cheap timer.
Check outlet with circuit analyzer.
Try connecting power pack to another outlet.
Copy following link for warranty information, tips to help power pack last longer, links to trippers, troubleshoot, etc.

I am looking to get a Malibu digital landscape transformer, such as model # 8100-9045-01, and I'm wondering if they have a "memory backup". In other words, every time there is a temporary...

8100-9045 is rated for 45 watts.
That's two 20 watt bulbs, or three 15 watt bulbs.

Power outage carryover: Contact Malibu directly since there is conflicting information on Malibu site:
http://malibulights.com/customer_service/contact_us.aspx

8100-9045-01 45-watt power pack page on the support tab says 'loss of power will stop timer.'
And then mentions tripper.
http://www.malibulights.com/products/transformers/details.aspx?item=8100-9045-01
http://malibulights.com/products/transformers.aspx

However other information on Malibu wesite contradicts power-outage information and shows 8100 series timer is electronic and is controlled by photoeye, and that timer has no tripper.

As a general rule with electronic timers, there is battery or capacitor carryover.

Will this work with an energy efficient low wattage bulb (below 40 watts? Can I connect it in an old house with only 2 wires in the box (no separate ground wire)?

I wrote a page on Honeywell Aube timers with manuals for each model number
http://waterheatertimer.org/Aube-timers.html

Manual for T1032 7-day 500 watt timer says it works on florescent lights, but doesn't specifically say compact florescent.

Minimum load is 40 Watts.

Cold weather: I wrote to Aube about rechargeable battery, and they say timer should be located inside house since cold temps (below freezing) will cause display to slow or stop functioning.

Two wire installation: Aube is made for two-wire switch replacement with no ground.

How to wire:
After connecting wires show below, turn on power and push on-off button.
If lights work, timer is correct.
If lights don't work, then reverse wires.
