You should be able to reset the hotspot which would reset it to the default password located on the device. I would be more specific, but I can't seem to find that product.

SOURCE: need to reset computer have a hp presario cq60

Hi and welcome to FixYa.

For an HP Compaq,

Press the Power button to start the PC, and then press the f11 key when the standard BIOS prompts are displayed on the black screen.

When computer starts, please press System Recovery and then hit next.

Please select no if it asks you to use Microsoft Restore System and hit next.

Please back up files at this point if you have not already done so. You will lose all data that cannot be retrieved after this process is completed. If you have done so already, hit next.

Your computer will then begin the final process of recovering itself.

This could be a lengthy process, so give it time.

Here is a solution for you....

1. Get ERD (Erro Rescue Disk) commander for Windows 7 (or any operating system that you are running) or Go to google and search ERD for (your operating system) and download it
2. Burn ERD on a CD.
3. Put the CD in the CD drive, and let the computer boot from the CD.
4. Wait until the CD has finished loading and you will notice an interface like the one for windows(this is so because ERD Commander is a Microsoft Product)
5. Go to start and then "Microsoft Diagnostic Tools"
6. Click on "Locksmith" and follow the steps. This will let you reset the old password and create a new password. Restart the computer and you will have to use the newly created password.

This procedure will only take you less than 15 minutes....

SOURCE: forgot windows password

Well, forgot Windows password? It is better to take Windows Password Unlocker to do so, which is well-recognized to reset Windows password in a short time. You can prepare a bootable CD/DVD or usb to create a password reset disk, and then reset the password with ease.

SOURCE: forgot password

how to reset or clear the BIOS password is to physically remove the power from the computer by disconnecting the power plug and then removing the Cmos battery for 30 minutes from the motherboard some motherboards cmos batteries are soldered in

Another way is to reset the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard itself. Both of the 2 methods mentioned works because most motherboards use a battery to sustain the BIOS/CMOS settings for the motherboards PROM chip. So by cutting off cmos the battery power, the BIOS/CMOS settings will be erased
or if using XP

Restart your computer during the boot process tap the f8 button three times this will boot into safe mode where the only things working will be your mouse and keyboard enabling you to attempt to repair your computer Advanced Boot Options screen appears.

Select the Safe Mode option using the up and down arrow keys, then press the ENTER key. Choose "Windows XP Home/Professional", depending on the version of the operating system.

Press ENTER. Shortly, the welcome screen should show.
Log in as "Administrator". Click Yes to not use System Restore Mode.

Click the Start button. Choose Run and type in "control user passwords" (without the quotes). Click OK.

Select the "Administrator" user. Click Change my password. Enter a new password in the corresponding text boxes. Click OK. Write this password down and store it in a secure place
Close the User Accounts window and restart Windows.
hope it helps

I want to reset the password on my US Cellular wi-fi hotspot device.

You can refer :

To change the network key (password), open a web browser and type this address: http://mifi.admin/ in the url search bar. This is your mobile hotspot's admin page. If you see a "Welcome"-screen on this page with a "Login password" field, click cancel at the bottom of the page and then "Ok" to cancel the setup wizard. Log in by entering "admin" in the box in the top-right corner and clicking "Login". Click on the "WiFi" link at the top of the screen, this will open the WiFi settings page. You can change the network name (SSID) and network key (password). Click apply to save any changes made. After saving the changes your mobile hotspot will reboot and you will need to select the new wireless network or enter your new network password in order to connect to the mobile hotspot.

O2 wifi hotspot no dns

The DNS info is provided via DHCP which is given out by the hotspot. You may want to A) try and simply reboot the phone and B) go into your settings > wireless and press and hold on the hotspot SSID (wireless name) and forget it. Then re-connect. Otherwise I would say it's an issue with the hotspot.

If you need to check any DNS query for website visit the site .
