Are the instructions on how to run the diagnostic test listed in the manual? FYI, I couldn't run the test on my Bosch DW because it was just too broken. Over the years the dishwasher essentially fried its own circuit board with excessive heat, which I learned is a problem common to Bosch DW's. Bosch told me the lifespan of my model was 10 years; mine was 11 years old (but was repaired once or twice). I replaced it with a Miele; no problems yet after 4 1/2 months.

Before going to the controller it might be better to verify the heater or thermostat (NTC).

The dishwasher continues to run...I followed instructions and performed the diagnostic...the light above the quick wash was solid, the light above the rinse/hold was flashing...the code displayed in the cycle countdown window was P0...now assuming the machins isn't "pissed-off"..can you help-

Bosch generally drys through evaporation from hot water rinse. There is a common circuit board issue where a cold solder joint on the heater relay pops.The water does not heat sufficient to evaporate any longer. Consult your manual for self diagnosing trouble shooting codes or go to appliance aid.com.
If the board connection is the issue I have repaired several, however Bosch recommends replacement only and sometimes supplies the parts free.

hey you..I have a whirlpool dishwasher too that would not
stop the wash cycle...it would run for 2-3 hours,
and then run thru the whole wash cycle again!

so..I had a whirlpool factory trained repair man come to
the home. He ran a diagnostic and it was 100% good,
so he called Whirlpool headquarters spoke to them;

said...........every 250 hours the dishwasher will
RE-CALIBRATE itself! running for 4-4 1/2 hours
straight, in order to re-calibrate itself. I was
interupting this by opening the door before it had
run the full 4 -41/2 hours of it's self-maintenance program.

Perhaps that your dishwasher is doing too?
p.s. always make sure you get a repairman that
is factory trained in your specific brand, otherwise
you'll waste $$$ money with a repairman who doesn't
have access to the corporate tech's and direct access
to their parts/inventory.
