You have not said what device you are using...
You need to see that there is sufficient phone memory available (at least 10% of total phone memory if you have atleast 100 MB phone memory)... or at least 10 MB free.
75 MB in use and 13 MB free the rest memory details are: Calender: 32 KB Contacts: 177 KB Messages: 142 B images: 197 KB Sound files: 0 KB Video files: 0kb Documents: 177 KB MIDP apps: 6 KB SIS apps: 7166 KB Other files: 64 MB You have given these detail. But actually no need to put this.the only question is which memory status that you are mention here..is it for phone or mmc(Edrive)?anyway here is the trick don't bother for mmc memory you just consider the phone memory.First make backup all the important data like Contacts, messages etc. which is in the phone memory.and try to format by pressing *#7370# and put pin code when ask.

I had this problem last year andnow i have completly resolvedthis. There is no need to installan earlier backup. You can do ityourself manually just with asoftware.First i will tell you how thisproblem occurs and how toavoid this. So, this problemoccurs mainly because ofinstalling themes in the phone. Ifyou do not install any theme, youwill never face this problem. Now, to resolve this followsimple steps.1. Download a software called'oxycube'. You can google it andget easily. Size is approx 28 mb.Oxycube allows you to accessthe hidden phone memory(cannot be accessed by pc suite)so you can see whats inside thehidden memory.2. Now connect your phone topc with cable.3. Make sure to close the pc suiteand also the tray icon.4. Install the oxycube softwareand run it. Allow it to detect yourphone.5. Click the read button at thetop. It will read the phones data.6. Now goto the C: which isphone memory. You can see alot of files there.7. Search for a folder namedhidden or hidden folder, somewhere in themes.8. When you locate that folderyou can delete all the fileswith .nth extension.9. Disconnect your phone andcheck it memory. It would haverecovered all the lost memory.10. Make sure not to install morethemes.>5130 XpressMusic problem.."not enough memory"
Is this a brand new phone? If there's nothing saved in your memory card, you may want to reformat the memory card to see if that helps.
Once you purchase a memory card (example: 4GB) and you insert it to the phone, once you check the memory status, you will never see that the available space is 4GB. It will show for about 3.98GB available and that's normal.
But 44MB is a big space and I believe that reformatting the memory card will help.
