Thetford Norcold NRF-30 blinking Temp Reading

Newly purchased NRF-30 refrigerator worked find for several weeks on the road. Now when plugged into AC or DC, Digital Temperature Display blinks steadily. "C" light is also on.

Is there a switch so you can switch the unit to operate on ac? There might be, and it is switched to operate on dc right now.

time to get the service person back under warranty
don't try repairs yourself as that voids the warranty
because you had to replace the regulator so early after purchase , it suggests problem in the gas lines(dirt or filings) that have blocked up the gas jets . problems on the other circuits could be again installation faults

Want to reset board on N611 norcold ref

Norcold model n611rp works on gas but not 12 volts is there a relay in curcuit board have14.2 volts going in but hear a click and five seconds later it clicks again thanks tom


Sounds like the unit may not have enough DC power. See the manual.

no these units run on 12 volt aswell check your fuses or and be sure u are getting atleast 10.5 volts to that fuse

How do you reset circuit board on norcold refrigerator


No way to do that other than to unplug refrigerator for at least ten minutes and then plug back in. Don't use surge protector, power strip, or extension cord.

Check if you are getting voltage to the heating element should be 120 volts
