It is very easy to lost or delete important text messages from Samsung Galaxy S4 by accident deletion, carelessly resetting, rooting and other reasons. Actually, these deleted messages can be restored from your Samsung GALAXY S4 (GT-I9500/GT-I9505) at ease.
You may delete all of the text messages while you just need to delete one of them. Via Renewandroid Recover files android you can retrieve messages, and other data like contacts, photos, call history, notes.
Now, what I found out, stopping me from resetting my entire frame was the text messaging requires the phone to have a certain amount of memory available (i think it is 15 mb). Once you delete your unwanted applications and reach above 15 - 20 mb available, try to send yourself a text. If you receive it then you've reached the storage available the phone requires.
On the Text Messaging screen, tap the message thread that you want to delete.
Do one of the following:
To delete the entire thread, press the Menu key and then tap Delete conversation. When prompted to confirm, tap OK.
To delete a message in a thread, press and hold the message that you want to delete, and then tap Delete message on the options menu. When prompted to confirm, tap OK.
Note: To delete all messages on the text messaging screen, press the menu key while on the text messaging screen, tap Delete all conversations, tap Yes to confirm.
Switch on the camera.
Press the button to open the frames for viewing.
Select the frame you want to delete by moving frames using left/right direction keys on the control.
Press the function key.
In the display on the screen you will get option to delete a frame and delete all the frames.
Select delete this frame.
Similarly you can delete the other frames.
If you want to mass delete your Text...from either inbox or any other folder... open the folder eg. Inbox press options then scroll to mark and mark all, then press option again and delete, you will delete everything there...
I had the same problem. I "thought" I was deleting them via my computer (using the delete function in Windows Explorer). However, that doesn't really delete the files.
I had to manually delete 82 photos (one by one) using the klunky menu buttons on the frame. I hope it works. Note that the frame cannot be connected to your computer when you're doing this. Good luck!
