I AM NOT TECHNO SAVY BUT REALIZE I AM NOT USING MY DEVICES TO FULL CAPACITY . I WOULD LIKE TO FIGURE THIS OUT AND ACTUALLY LEARN WHAT ALL THE CORDS ARE AND WHAT EACH OF COMPONENT CAN DO TO MAXIMIZE THE USE OF MY OLD STUFF BEFORE DECIDING TO UPGRADE TO NEW . I HAVE SPEAKERS, AV / DVD/VCR SYSTEMS ALL STACKED UP UNDER THE TV ...UNPLUGGED!I WILL FOLLOW EASY HOW TO TO GET STARTED AND APPRECIATE YOUR EXPERT ADVISE AND SUPPORT. Simplest thing would be that your component cables are not HU'd correctly. Having them reversed would do this.

Check to see if the comp inputs have a red and black audio input. Those must be connected, second go inside the menu and make sure the inputs match..good luck..
